The Clumsy Works of Nature

Charles Darwin, along with Alfred Russel Wallace, was a co-discoverer of "natural selection." The modern definition of natural selection is "A process in nature in which organisms possessing certain genotypic characteristics that make them better adjusted to an environment tend to survive, reproduce, increase in number or frequency, and therefore, are able to transmit and perpetuate their essential genotypic qualities to succeeding generations."

This "natural selection" can be seen throughout...

If Everybody had a Notion, Across the USA

An Atheist wrote and said, "What do Darwin's personal views on race have to do with our modern understanding of evolution? Nothing. Absolutely nothing, Ray. Even a fool knows this." Indeed, Darwin's racism has nothing to do with the credibility of the theory of evolution. It should stand or fall on its own merits. However, the theory itself teaches that all men are not created equal. Darwinian evolution doesn't say that human beings are made in the image of God and endowed by their Creator wi...

How to Stir up a Hornet's Nest

It's interesting that a number of Atheists have agreed with me in my belief that Darwin was a racist. They said, "I feel no compelling need to justify Charles Darwin's racism," and, "And why do you assume that Darwin's racism was shaped by his belief in evolution? The man lived at a time when Blacks in many western nations were still owned as chattels, when creationist anthropologists freely speculated that the different races were separately created species (a view Darwin undertook to refute...

My Apologies...I Was Wrong

I am often accused by Atheists of refusing to admit when I am in error, but I was certainly was wrong this time.

Last week I said that Charles Darwin wasn't a racist, and that even if he was, his personal morality was irrelevant when it came to the theory of evolution. But after studying him closely, I have changed my mind.

Let's look at his own words:

"At some future period, not very distant as measured by centuries, the civilized races of man will almost certainly exterminate and replace thr...

"Sorry Elizabeth." Richard Gunther (cartoonist)

39 Now Mary arose in those days and went into the hill country with haste, to a city of Judah, 40 and entered the house of Zacharias and greeted Elizabeth. 41 And it happened, when Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary, that the babe leaped in her womb; and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. 42 Then she spoke out with a loud voice and said, "Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb! 43 But why is this granted to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to...

History is Quickly Forgotten

Ray, I hope that you've censured Kirk for the lies that he was telling in the video advertising this giveaway. You know, the ones about not being able to pray or read a bible in school, etc. Lying for Jesus is still lying." KiwiInOz

There was a time in the United Sates when public schools opened in prayer every day. These were the words kids recited along with the Pledge of Allegiance: "Almighty God, we acknowledge our dependence upon Thee, and we beg Thy blessings upon us, our parents, our te...

How to Read the Bible and Stay in the Dark

Then Mary said to the angel, "How can this be, since I do not know a man?" 35 And the angel answered and said to her, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God. 36 Now indeed, Elizabeth your relative has also conceived a son in her old age; and this is now the sixth month for her who was called barren. 37 For with God nothing will be impossible." 38 Then Mary said...

We May Have to Shut Down Atheist Central

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ucHIPag-m40&feature=related

He's at it again:

Dear Ray Comfort and Kirk Cameron,

If you look into the legal definition of Hate Speech, the bumper sticker and all the other material that Living Waters Ministries has on Atheists, meets the definition of Hate Speech, and is NOT protected by the First Amendment.

You have until October 20, 2009 to remove all of it, and stick to promoting Christianity only, or I will have a U.S. District Court Judge order you to.
