Jillian publishes contemporary romance. Yes, my chattering nature does influence my writing - I adore writing dialogue and long form fiction - but I do not think a talkative or more reserved nature is a definitive factor in become an author. When I write character dialogue, I don't want my voice to be the voice the reader hears. It's more fun to play around with creating a person I am not (critical too). One of my favorite lines from my latest comes from a scene where Sabin wakes his fiance with...um...I should keep it PG...and says, "Now that's a good mornin' done proper, ma'am."
Definitely not something this Italian diva from Philly would say! I think writers write because they love words and stories. (less)

My Flyers didn't even make the playoffs so I was rooting for Tampa, but the Hawks did it again. Argh! My chicks are finished school so I'm doing the full time mommy gig for the summer. No complaints though because my girls are super fantastic bubble plastic.
Godsend is finished. The writing, anyway. I still have to do a cover, reformatting and all that yucky stuff before I can release it. I shooting for September/October and I will surely send it along. I love this one (think it's my best effort). I'm also about halfway through Harmony (Masters #4) and Teo is breaking my heart.
I'm heading off for a trip to London and bringing The Virgin by Tiffany Reisz (love all of her books - super hot), The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt (pulitzer prize winner so I thought I'd check it out) and City of Bones by Cassandra Clare (my girls are devouring her series so I'm joining their book club). I just finished Third Debt by Pepper Winters (great, dark and erotic) and am working my way through the Dartmouth Cobras series by Bianca Sommerland (cheeky, sexy hockey players). Several friends recommended Motorcycle Man by Kristen Ashley, but I haven't taken her books for a ride (I know, bad pun).
