Amazon Automatic Book Update

Automatic Book Update

This is useful if you want to be sure you get any new versions of an ebook. This may not work in every situation, for example: on special circumstances, like a new, expanded anniversary edition that is not published as the same book.

“Opt in for automatic book updates to receive new versions of your books when we have confirmed that improvements were made. In order to retain your notes, highlights, bookmarks and furthest reading locations, ensure that all your Kindle devices and reading apps have the “Annotation Back Up” setting turned on.” – Amazon

1. Log into your account and go to it

sync

2. Go to Manage Your Content and Devices

Scarlett Dawn, Author Interview

Scarlett Dawn, Author Spotlight

By Michelle Pillow, www.michellepillow.com

Dawn.jpg

It hypnotizes and pulls you into a fantastical reality.

A #1 Bestseller in Witches and Wizards Romance and award-winner, Scarle tt Dawn is the author of the Forever Evermore new adult fantasy series, which include King Hall and King Cave. She lives in the Midwest, adores her music loud, and her fries covered in melted cheese.

Her newest fantasy release, King Hall (Forever Evermore, #1), is available at all major online vendors.

KingHallCover

Q: In your book, KING HALL, you explore Shifters, Mages, Vampires, and Elementals. What inspired you?

Scarlett: I wanted something unique and fresh. Sure all of these types of paranormal creatures have been explored before, but all at once? And to create a ‘newness’ to all of them? It was outrageous fun to tinker with what a reader knows already, and then shake it up all crazy-like. I enjoy pushing boundaries, so that’s what I did for myself when creating this story.

Q: What myths or legends inspired you?

Scarlett: None. In fact, I made it so no traditional myths or legends play a part in the story. I wanted ‘new’.

Q: What myths and legends have you investigated?

Scarlett: I love researching all types of legends. Every time I go to the bookstore I end up buying a new book on some type of culture, and their myths. One day I would love to pick and pull from all the different cultures, twist them up, to make one hell of a new badass story.

Q: Do you have any paranormal theories?

Scarlett: No. I don’t believe in the supernatural. Though, I adore writing about it!

Q: Why do you think readers, and society in general, are fascinated by the paranormal?

Scarlett: Because it’s sensually different than our staid world. It hypnotizes and pulls you into a fantastical reality.

Q: What are your favorite paranormal shows, movies and books?

Scarlett: I love television and movies! It’s my hobby of sorts. But my favorites are The Host and The Mummy.

Q: What kind of paranormal creatures do you wish you could meet?

Scarlett: Vampires. Straight up. They are kickass. Shifters would scare me.

Q: If given the chance, would you become a Vampire?

Scarlett: Yep. I would have so much fun being a Vamp. It would be like letting chaos out of the bottle.

Q: How would you react if you came face to face with a Shifter?

Scarlett: I would probably pee my pants, and then faint. True.

Thank you for joining us!
