25 Books with Harlequin!
My twenty-fifty book with Harlequin comes out next week, and they’ve been so sweet about celebrating this achievement as well as those of other authors more prolific than me. Here are some photos:
I was proud to see my book up on the big screen alongside some incredible authors.
Each red dot below was a person at the virtual dance party! We could walk around, talk, and dance–like being in a video game!
And to top it off, my publisher sent me flowers!

I’ve been talking books!
It’s been a fun day! I got to speak to the Dallas Area Romance Writers on Zoom, and they are a terrific group with two of my former students, Randee Leigh and Mary Karlik, in leadership roles. And I was interviewed by another former student, Lynn Slaughter, author of the forthcoming Leisha’s Song, for her blog. Talking to former students and seeing them succeed is one of the best parts of being a teacher!

New Off Season Novella!
Coming April 1st! I had so much fun writing this short novella, not least because it includes a senior chihuahua! Here’s the official description:
When wealthy, recently divorced Gemma McWharter returns to the coastal town where she spent childhood summers, she plans to help her cousin redecorate her teenage daughter’s room and forget about men. It’ll be girl power all the way. So she’s shocked when she literally runs into the carpenter on the job—her first love, Isaac. Her stuck-up family never approved, but the sight of him still makes her pulse race.
Isaac Roberts lives a solitary life providing for his mother and running the family hardware store, but he longs for romance and family. Gemma’s arrival sets his emotions on a roller-coaster ride all over again. Twenty years ago her family interfered, but he and Gemma have never forgotten each other. Could this be a second chance with the one who got away?

No, it’s not shorts weather, and no, I’m not traveling… but I wish I were!
Can’t wait to get back to the Bay.
