Gnomes
GM, my friends. Happy #Weekend! #Coffee & it's #amwriting for me.
Books. I LOVE books. I've always wanted to own my own book shop or be a librarian. My favorite books have always been ones filled with magic. It never mattered whether the books were for adults or children, as long as they had magic, witches, wizards, etc., I would happily read them. These days, I (mostly) stick to middle grade (ages 9-12) fantasy, with the occasional cozy mystery thrown in the mix. What about you?

Female gnomes are good natured, warm, loving creatures. They take pride in caring for their young, tending to their gardens & tidying their homes.
You should ever make the mistake of telling her that she is not strong, clever or capable....RUN.
Unlike humans, ALL gnomes are taught at a young age that respect, kindness & unity make a village strong.

Hobson whistled a happy little tune as he clomped and crunched his way throught he forest. What would he say first? Would a simple hello work, a kiss on her hand or perhaps, her cheek? He shook his head and decided against that last one. Nellie would surely think he was being forward.
Like a sign from the elders above, moonlight shone down on blooms in violet. He knelt down and sniffed their sweet scent. These flowers were not common in this part of the forest. They had small white faces with a touch of pink and their petals were delicate and square at the tip. Nellie would love them. He picked a bunch and hurried toward the old stump.
A sudden breeze blew his hat down over his eyes. He pushed it back on his head and growled in frustration. "Junie, what are you doing here?"
A small ball of light zipped in and out of the trees. "She decided she was going to keep Nellie company. She said I wasn't invited."
"I'm sure your sister did not mean it that way," he said. "I've never known pixies to be mean to one another."
"I will keep you company and she won't be able to say another word about it," said Junie, settling on his shoulder.
"Suit yourself, but I have to hurry, otherwise I'll be late," said Hobson.
