Figured it for a Texas truck before seeing the Beto sticker. Remember him? Rare to see a machine like this anywhere near Harvard Square. AL liked the Dodge trucks before they got all fat-fendered and faux-macho round about 1995.
Trucks of this era are a very rare sight in Cambridge MA especially in February but the weather has been spring-like lately and I guess they are busting out. We spotted this on eof Mass Ave near MIT. We were on bikes. There was a lot of traffic so AL had to be rather hasty grabbing these shots. Such a delight to see a truck like this, like the first robins of spring (who have been around all winter in our backyard).
The Bison Brothers in Alberta seem to find these trucks up there in the high dry farm and ranch country of Western Canada. This one has a hoist for the bed so it was proably used as a grainer. Original paint, they say.
