Chevrolet C10 SWB

 

I met Pete Chavez 12 years ago, just after I bought our C10. He's had his since new. Great to see him yesterday. Turns out we also have the same jacket.

1962 Chevrolet Biscayne sedan. Marfa, Texas.

Biscaynes are the definitive plainjane. Love 'em. We caught a 1964 Biscayne, a classic sleeper, in Colorado Springs. And, speaking of admirable Southwestern Chevys, how about this '58 Impala posted from Santa Fe? Monahans is Guy Clark's hometown. Couple hours NE of here.  I have been reading his biography, Without Getting Killed or Caught, by Tamara Saviano. Kinda adulatory.

It's a farm truck and spent most go its life in Montana.  Here's a 1954 Ford F-100 in the rough that we caught in Virginia. The truck posted here is going on the block at Hemmings.
