BLURB: Jinx Jett is a rock superstar. As such, the hunky Skull Blasters drummer thoroughly enjoys the many perks of willing groupies, earning him a reputation as the band slut. Making it big and scoring hot women is something Jinx never expected. There's a little voice in the back of his mind constantly reminding him of how he used to be -- shy, overweight and acne prone. One night in a gay bar turns life upside down when Jinx runs into Jayden Dempsey, a kid he's been fantasizing about since giving him his autograph at a mall. Long-held insecurities keep Jinx from fully committing to anyone, and he may lose Jayden if he can't put his past behind him.
Jayden Dempsey always wanted out of his life in small-town Alabama. When his parents kicked him out after he told them he was gay, Jayden decided the time was right to move on. He crosses the country to try out for 'Singers!', a show that propels unknowns to stardom. In a twist, producers choose him and three others as winners and form a boy band called London Boys. This season, the show brings Jayden and the guys back for the finale. Surprise! The contest's heavy metal finalist will be singing with Skull Blasters.
Jinx and Jayden's initial meeting doesn't go so well, and Jayden's stunned when the guy he's crushed on for years turns out to be a total jerk. It doesn't stop him from falling into Jinx's arms every time they're alone, but Jayden didn't sign on for one nighters. He wants Jinx Jett, baggage and all.
Can a former teen outcast put rejection behind him and embrace the acceptance standing right in front of him? How much will one boy bander put up with from his rock idol before enough is enough? Can they make it work? Or are they jinxed in love?

Blog Tour: Clean By Mia Kerick

Blurb: High school senior Lanny Keating has it all. A three-sport athlete at Lauserville High School looking at a college football scholarship, with a supportive family, stellar grades, boy band good looks… until the fateful day when it all falls apart.
Seventeen-year-old Trevor Ladd has always been a publicly declared zero and the high school bad-boy. Abandoned by his mother and sexually abused by his legal guardian, Trevor sets his sights on mere survival.
Lanny seeks out Trevor’s companionship to avoid his shattered home life. Unwilling to share their personal experiences of pain, the boys explore ways to escape, leading them into sexual experimentation, and the abuse of illegal drugs and alcohol. Their mutual suffering creates a lasting bond of friendship and love.
When the time finally comes to get clean and sober, or flunk out of high school, only one of the boys will graduate, while the other spirals downward into addiction.
Will Lanny and Trevor find the strength to battle their demons of mind-altering substances as well as emotional vulnerability?
Clean takes the reader on a gritty trip into the real and raw world of teenage substance abuse.
( Excerpt )

Mia focuses her stories on the emotional growth of troubled young men and their relationships, and she believes that sex has a place in a love story, but not until it is firmly established as a love story. As a teen, Mia filled spiral-bound notebooks with romantic tales of tortured heroes (most of whom happened to strongly resemble lead vocalists of 1980s big-hair bands) and stuffed them under her mattress for safekeeping. She is thankful to CoolDudes Publishing, Dreamspinner Press, Harmony Ink Press for providing her with an alternate place to stash her stories.
Mia is proud of her involvement with the Human Rights Campaign and cheers for each and every victory made in the name of marital equality. Her only major regret: never having taken typing or computer class in school, destining her to a life consumed with two-fingered pecking and constant prayer to the Gods of Technology.
Tell us five moments that stayed with you from any 5 books.
I read a lot. A lot. And I have chosen five moments from five books that have remained in my heart for years!
1. Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte- I’ll always remember when Jane and Mr. Rochester reunite at the end; the proud Mister Rochester is now a broken and damaged man.
2. Brokeback Mountain by Annie Proulx- I cry when I experience the bitter regret of Ennis Del Mar at the novel’s conclusion when he visit’s Jack’s home.
3. Bare Back by Chris Owen- Because of a betrayal, the two men lose their comfortable, day-to-day life, a simple blessing that they had taken for granted.
4. Once Upon a Time in America by Michael Bowler- I grit my teeth when Lance refuses to let go of Ricky’s hand (if he lets go Ricky will fall to his death).
5. Into This River I Drown by TJ Klune- I will always remember when an angel falls from the sky!!

I am a firm believer in marriage equality, love at first sight, power dynamics and happily ever after. I'm a lover of strong secondary characters and series filled with families, biological or chosen. All are themes you'll find throughout my books.
1) Tell us something no one else knows about your characters.
Billy has a not-so-secret crush on Justin Bieber which is why his picture is on the dartboard Liam set up in Chris’s old room.
2) Have you ever had writer’s block? How did you overcome it?
I clean the toilets. Nothing gets the creative juicy flowing than cleaning toilets.
3) What book you’ve written would you like to see made into a movie?
I’ve had readers tell me Past Hurts should be a movie. I don’t know, maybe, it’s not something I think about.
4) Do you work on an outline or plot or just let the story takes you where it wants to go?
I’m a panster. Beyond a title and a blurb, it’s all by the seat of my pants. Plotting is the elusive goal that I don’t really work too hard to master.
5) Rapid fire questions:
1 – Favorite meal – Ever? Chicken Tchoupitoulas from Coop’s Place in NOLA
2 – Favorite color - Red
3 – Favorite ice cream flavor – Chocolate and peanut butter ice cream from Baskin Robbins

Amazon Kindle: Something Like a Love Song
Blurb: One tragic night left Landon and Dylan’s dreams of happily ever after in apparent ruin. Forced to overcome physical and emotional trauma, the young lovers turn to a network of family and friends as they attempt to rebuild their lives. But can their one constant—their love—survive the changes both undergo on the road to recovery?
( Excerpt )

"Thank you for having me. Something Like a Love Song is my first novel, a story about two long time boyfriends who find themselves facing a life changing tragedy and have to find the courage and love for each other to fight through.
While this is my first novel, I have posted many stories online, and have been writing ever since I learned how. I currently work as a nurse in a Neonatal ICU, and medicine has been a big interest in my life, and always seems to find a way into my writing. I am passionate about diverse, LGBTQ fiction, and am very excited to contribute to this genre."
1) Where did your love of books/storytelling/reading/writing come from?
I think I can pretty much blame my obsession with all of that on my mom. My mom is a huge reader and has a massive collection of books, and as a lover of literature, has been both my enabler and my supporter. When I was little she shared her love of reading with me, and I was pretty much addicted to reading as soon as I learned how, and writing my own stories came shortly after. I don’t think I would have the love for literature and all of the arts if it wasn’t for her.
2) What were your goals when you started this book? Do you think you met them?
When I first started writing this story in its original format online, my goal was to bring awareness to the subject matter. Having worked as a caregiver, and with individuals with brain injuries, I learned how strong and incredible they can be, and how strong and courageous the caregivers have to be to care for someone they love in such a way. I really wanted to bring some awareness to subject, and I received so many kind and supportive messages from readers who have gone through similar situations, or could identify with the subject. My hope with this book is to bring a similar awareness to readers, and that maybe they will learn something new, or perhaps find a way to identify with Dylan and Landon’s journey.
3) Have you ever co-written with someone before?
I’ve attempted to co-write a silly story with someone before, but we were both very busy at the time and it never was finished. I would not be opposed to trying again some day!
4) Tell us about your favorite character in a book (yours or someone else’s).
Oh man, this is a hard question. I’m going to go to my default of Samwise Gamgee from The Lord of the Rings. When I was in college, I wrote paper on Samwise, and how, even though he is a side character, he is probably the most important character in the trilogy, and I still stand by that. He’s loyal, selfless, and does what he does out of his love for another. Also he loves potatoes, so that makes him pretty perfect.
I would say my other favorite character would be Trip Morgan from Courtney Lux’s Small Wonders. If you haven’t read Small Wonders yet, it should absolutely be next on your to-read list. Trip is one of the most complex, delightfully frustrating, vividly real characters I have ever read.
5) List five foods you can’t live without.
1. Potatoes (in any form)
2. Coffee
3. Pumpkin flavored anything
4. Popcorn
5. Ice cream

“Naked Ibiza”—An Incredible, Large Scale Photography Book by Dylan Rosser
A book of male nudes photographed on location in Ibiza over the last four years!
LONDON, United Kingdom—November 23, 2015—“Naked Ibiza,” an incredible, large scale photography book, was recently announced by renowned photographer Dylan Rosser. Rosser composed this book of male nudes photographed on location in Ibiza over the last four years. After visiting Ibiza regularly since 2000, Rosser decided to leave London for it, with the intention of photographing models outdoors in nature, something that was new to him after primarily indoor studio work. He wanted to work with more models in different locations at different times of the year to provide a more vivid picture of this Mediterranean island paradise. Rosser is very proud of the mix of models who have been part of this project. Some are experienced guys with huge fan bases while others are brand new, but definitely on their way to big success. Readers will see muscled professional body builders and lean athletic guys. Not every image is a nude, as there are some beautiful portraits of which he is proud of, but he is particularly excited about the number of models who agreed to pose full frontal for the first time.

There is absolutely no clothing in “Naked Ibiza.” That is the main rule in all of Rosser’s books, in order to guarantee the images are timeless. Something simple, like a brand of swimwear, may be fashionable now, but could be dated twenty years down the line. The nude male form outdoors in nature is absolutely timeless.
So, in order to fund this vivid and intimate book, Rosser launched a Kickstarter campaign. The funding goal was raised quickly but there is still some time to back the project and get this beautiful, intimate book before it hits the shelves later next year.

To get a copy of “Naked Ibiza” before anyone else, please visit the Kickstarter campaign or click here. Perks will be delivered by April 2016.
A short video teaser is available at the following link: https://vimeo.com/146226861

Please keep in mind that “Naked Ibiza” will be hitting bookstores and Amazon later in 2016, but by backing the campaign, backers will receive the Large Scale Photography Book by Dylan Rosser by Spring. Be the first to enjoy it!

Born and raised in a small farming town in southern Indiana, A.D. was an avid reader from the time she learned to read. She could often be found curled up somewhere with her nose in a book. Most of her friends and family were not such book enthusiasts, so A.D. got used to dealing with snickers and joking comments about her constant reading habits. Truth be told, Ms. Ellis has always been the definition of a book nerd.
A.D. always dreamed of being a teacher. Graduating from Indiana State University in 1999 and earning a Master's Degree from Indiana Wesleyan in 2003, she met her goal of entering the world of education. A.D. has been teaching in the inner city of Indianapolis, Indiana for 17 years. She spent the majority of her 17 years in fourth grade, but has now taken on the challenges of teaching 3rd and 4th grade alternative education students. A.D. loves teaching fractions, variables, probability, and graphing in Math. She loves almost all aspects of English Language Arts. Figurative language, theme, making predictions, drawing conclusions, inference, context clues, making writing come to life, A.D. loves it all! Her students don't always share in that enthusiasm.
She met her husband in college in 1996 and they married in June of 2000. She lives in a south side suburb of Indianapolis, Indiana with her husband and two school-aged children. When she's not reading or writing with music blaring, she can be found shopping at thrift stores, reading to her children, and sweating at the gym in the very early mornings.
A.D. began her writing journey in October 2013, and she is grateful for the friends and support she's found along the way.

Look, it really did start out with demons. In space. Rescuing an angel from a deserted… Never mind. Brimstone has never been about just demons. The eponymous ship of the series, the Brimstone herself, and I have spent a prequel and four novellas building a little family of oddities, though that’s not what we started out doing.
The ship and I had a clear purpose – write some science fiction comedic pieces because, darn it, SF takes itself too seriously sometimes and needs to be reminded that the universe has a sense of humor. Ivana Cockatoo, all brash and sass, certainly confirms it. The ship’s AI doesn’t do serious for long. But she’s watched as we’ve added an angel, a cowboy from the Old West, an oversized pink hedgehog who can only speak in haiku, and so on to our ship family, and the Brimstone would like me to finally admit something. It’s not just about the funny, either.
Yes, the stories are humor, but they’re also about being who you are and holding up a single finger salute to a universe who says you have to be something else. It’s about being our quirky, strange, does-not-fit-in-pre-prepared-box, sometimes annoying, sometimes wonderful selves. It’s about following our passions, no matter the obstacles in the way. It’s about the family we gather around us, which may or may not include the family were born to. The new Brimstone story, Beside a Black Tarn? Well, you’ll just have to snag the Travels Through the Scarlet Equinox anthology and see for yourself.
Brimstone. Demons in space. How can you take that seriously?
BLURB: The Autumnal equinox—when the trees dress in their formal scarlet and gold and the crisp air whispers of chance and change, when bright days turn into sudden storms and the veil between reality and imagination thins. Join the Mischief Corner authors as they share stories evoking this often unpredictable time of year.
A Bear’s Bear by Toni Griffin
Matthew Warner's been a Chicago Bears fan as far back as he can remember. What other team was a young bear shifter from the Smokey Mountains supposed to root for? When his college friend gets tickets to the next home game, Matthew jumps at the chance for a holiday. It's his favorite time of year and Nic promises him pumpkin carving and a visit to the world's largest corn maze, what more could he want?
What Matthew doesn’t expect is finding out the defensive tackle for the Bears is his mate. Between fainting at the realization, meeting family, and dealing with the media fallout of his mate's coming out Matthew is in for a hell of a rocky Halloween.
The Autumn Lands by J. Scott Coatsworth
Jerrith is running. Kissed by an elf, he can't remain in his hometown of Althos anymore. Not that he wanted to stay.
Caspian still hasn't figured out why he kissed Jerrith, but he's running too. Since he was exiled from the Autumn Lands, his past has been hazy, and his future uncertain. But when a stray memory brings things into focus, the two decide to run toward something together. What they uncover will change how they see the world, and themselves, forever.
Beside a Black Tarn by Angel Martinez
When Shax stumbles across rumors of an experimental house that responds to the occupant’s brain functions, creating scenarios to please and delight, naturally he wants to steal it. But with the return of a troubled and hunted Julian Parallax and an overabundance of Poe references, even Shax’s scheming may not be enough to get the Brimstone crew out alive this time.
Eternity in the Tides by Freddy MacKay
Autumn has always been Zak's favorite season for hiking and camping. Not to mention breathing in all that crisp fall air and sitting around toasty bonfires. That all changed year and a half ago when a rich prick high on prescription pills sideswiped Zak while he was out biking.
Now his days are filled with pain and limited mobility. No more camping. No more trails. Zak's life as he knew it is gone forever.
Back at his beloved stomping grounds, Zak is ready to say hello and goodbye one last time. But when a cry from the frigid Lake Superior waters throws him into the role of a rescuer, more than just his life hangs in the balance. Little did Zak know how much one person giving a damn mattered to him.

Toni Griffin lives in Darwin, the smallest of Australia's capital cities. Born and raised in the state she's a Territorian through and through. Growing up Toni hated English with a passion (as her editors can probably attest to) and found her strength lies with numbers.
Now, though, she loves escaping to the worlds she creates and hopes to continue to do so for many years to come. She's a single mother of one and works full time. When she's not writing you can just about guarantee that she will be reading one of the many MM authors she loves.

About J. Scott Coatsworth
Scott is the admin for the Queer Sci Fi site. He has been writing since ele- mentary school, when he and won a University of Arizona writing contest in 4th grade for his first sci fi story (with illustrations!). He finished his first novel in his mid twenties, but after seeing it rejected by ten publishers, he gave up on writing for a while.
Over the ensuing years, he came back to it periodically, but it never stuck. Then one day, he was complaining to Mark, his husband, about how he had been derailed yet again by the death of a family member, and Mark said to him "the only one stopping you from writing is you."
Since then, Scott has gone back to writing in a big way, finishing more than a dozen short stories—some new, some that he had started years be- fore—and seeing his first sale. He's embarking on a new trilogy, and also runs QSF, a support group for writers of gay sci fi, fantasy, and supernatu- ral fiction.
