Bring it on

Welcome to the week. It's a beautiful sunny day, lots of stuff done at the weekend and ready now to throw myself back into getting things all ready for the end of this month....gonna be a good week and hope it is for all. :)

Getting Cracking

*Cracks fingers, waggles them and plunges onto the keyboard.

Inspiration's bubbling today, lots to write, lots to create, it's gonna be a good day :)

September's Here

Yesterday the fingers weren't really keen but today they're back and buzzing with the creativity cartwheeling into a start on the re-write of book 3 - Enlightened Nights.

Not quite writers block but needed a day away to come back fresh and flowing, some time looking a little further forward in the series then from tomorrow I'll be diving back into getting the 2nd ready for release - 4 weeks today and the clock is ticking, oh heck!

Now to re-write the re-write

Finished the re-write of Dark Days now, the 2nd book in The Written Pictures Series, so right on track for release 29th September.

From here, it's another sweep to tweak and twist, polishing it further then the bulk is done. From there it's a run through to check grammar (I do try to get it all right but...!) followed by a final load into Kindle format to check format and structure.

It's on the way!!

Starting to finish

With Descent Into Darkness having been out now for just over 2 weeks, more people are finishing.

Gosh, the feedback you are giving me is so supportive and encouraging, thank you so so much!! It helps push me on to get the other books ready for you to enjoy too!

Dark Days is still well on track for release 29th September and follows on right where Descent left off.

Marketing

It's tough being a new author out there in a big wide world of readers. Sometimes it feels like shouting in the desert but those reading Descent Into Darkness so far are giving such great feedback that it keeps me going - if only they would post reviews :)

Six hours on social media yesterday but also worked on book 2, Dark Days. Rewrote a critical chapter and what was sizzling now scorches off the page - really happy with it :)

Under way

Well, it's out there. Descent Into Darkness is taking baby steps into the wide world of readership.

A lot of time spent now on getting the word out and welcome any help in that - tell everyone you can.

Working on getting Dark Days ready too now with a target release date of 29th September.

I'll then crack on with Enlightened Nights to have it out by the end of November.

Both books now have their own pages on Goodreads!!
