Bouncing
My next book has me really excited and I have put the fourth book in the 'Written Pictures' series on hold for now to focus wholly on this one.
Called 'Is This Me', the book is a stand alone in a new genre for me. The best way to describe it would be that it is a romance, chick-lit, BDSM-Lite cross and tells the story of a forty something lady who has a mid-life wake up call and realises that she has become Mrs Average without noticing.
Awake now, she sets out on a mission to find herself afresh, 'Is This Me' is her story and is expected to be out May 1st.

Pushing on
Making good progress now with my next book 'Is This Me'.
A stand alone, for now at least, the book is about a forty something lady, Mrs Average, who plods from day to day on life's treadmill of kids, cooking and cleaning.
Something though wakes her up to who she has drifted into being. She wants to find a way back to the woman she was in her twenties and drag her husband with her by spicing up the bedroom. The story is about what spurred her to take that path.

Three paragraph challenge
A group I am in held a challenge to write something dark and enticing in no more than 3 paragraphs - this was my attempt..
Three Paragraph Challenge - Beyond The Door
Should I? No is the simple answer and yet here I am. I’m not this kind of woman. At least I didn’t think I was. But things change and have been changed by him. So here I am, outside his door, ready to offer all that I am and redirect my life.
Confidence has long been my shield but he strode straight past it, so easily dismissing my flimsy objections. He seized the moment, my attention, my breath and is spinning me back to an uncertain place I thought I’d outgrown. By the time he took my hand he was already sure he would be my future. That same hand is shaking now as I struggle for the composure I know I will need despite being pressed in a fist against my stockinged thigh.
‘Keep yourself together honey, you can do it.’ The words I breathe through gritted teeth are more plea than statement of intent for I am here, just as he demanded, just as he knew I would be. I am here. Now, with heart pounding and ankles fighting a constant battle against the height of my heels, I go to him. Mind, body and soul, I will soon belong to the man that expects me and waits beyond the door.

Almost here
Enlightened Nights is nearly here. Should be released Monday 8th and getting close now!
As a little sneak peek, Enlightened Nights follows on right where Dark Days left off. It's a slightly different feel to the book with less stomach clenching darkness but a fast pace to keep you on the edge of your seat and breathless!

Slipping Back

The Sideline
The new book I am writing is called Is This Me and tells a story of a 40 something Mrs Average.
Beth has a mid-life wake up and realises her life has become a treadmill of kids, cleaning and school runs.
