Hi. This is the first time I ever asked a question to any mystery writter. But I wanted to know how long are you going to write the Bookstore Cafe? And are you going to write any other series?

I plan on keeping with the Bookstore Cafe mysteries for as long as I can keep the stories from getting stale. I don't want to keep going for the sake of it, not if the books suffer from it. That could be a long time from now!

The short answer to question 2 is YES. The long answer will have to wait for now.(less)

I have been reading all of your Bookstore Cafe Mysteries and do you make up the coffee's or have you actually drank any of the coffees that you put in the book? It is a fun series and Krissy does seem to get caught in the middle of things each time. I am glad that you enjoy writing them as much as we (the readers) read the series.

And I've never used a cookie as sweetener. Otherwise, I've probably tried the rest at one time or another, though I tend to stick to hazelnut for my daily fix.

Thank you for reading!(less)

Alex Erickson answered Johnboy Parker's question: Any new books you plan on writing? Always! There's definitely more Bookstore Cafe coming out. After that . . . There'll be something, but am in limbo on that at the moment.

Quotes by Alex Erickson (?)

“He always drinks out of chipped mugs, saying that doing so reminds him that not everything that’s broken is useless. You can repair and mend almost anything and treat it as if it were new. I’ve decided to carry on the tradition.”
