Changes are afoot!

And, yeah, that’s my fault.

But now that September is right around the corner (as in tomorrow!!), I’m finally getting things in order again, so I thought it was time for an author update.

NEW SERIES

My upcoming series (Dark Guards) is coming along. The first book is ready, but I’m waiting for the next couple to finish edits before I publish. This means that I have to figure out when to release these. I’m still working...

An excerpt from Waiting for his Touch:

Kyle dropped his hand to her waist, and the heat of his touch burned through her T-shirt. “We’ve all grown up a lot since we last saw you.”

She swallowed and stepped away from Kyle, away from the temptation he presented. If she didn’t put some distance between them, she would lean back into his body just to feel those hard muscles against her.

Dammit. How could he affect her so much still? It’d be...

An excerpt from Sleeping in his Bed:

“I thought you’d left the door open as an invitation. Is that not what you were thinking?”

“No,” she answered truthfully and regretted it instantly. “I mean—”

“I’m going to take a shower.” He cut off her words. “While I’m in there, you decide what you want. If your door is open, I’m coming in.” He retreated to the threshold, where he looked back at her. The light shone across the side of his sexy f...

An excerpt from Alone with the Cowboy:

“I wonder if I should have gone for the weekend too,” she said, “so you could have the house to yourself.” Her toes curled against his denim-clad leg, grasping at his strength. She couldn’t even control her feet around him.

“I’m glad you didn’t go,” he said. Was he being suggestive or just normal? And why was she reading so much into everything today?

“Oh, okay.” Jenna nodded.

The surround soun...

An excerpt from Caught by her Boss:

Even now, though, she didn’t say the words aloud. Only his name. Over and over.

She was so close. Her hand slipped and slid faster and faster. The timer stopped and the water quieted, but she didn’t. She was almost—

Then a sound broke into her fantasy. Panic seized her and she opened her eyes. Had she been caught?

Nothing moved in the shadowy depths of the yard.

She stared into the darkness fo...

An excerpt from A Wolf’s Protection

Adam stared at the cake Mary set on the counter in the bar’s kitchen. She was usually the first one to arrive for her shift, so that wasn’t unusual. But the cake? That was new. He didn’t often eat sweets, but it looked perfectly delectable. It was a two-tier, like his mom used to make for his and his twin brother’s birthday. The mouth-watering aroma of cream cheese icing and carrot cake...

An excerpt from A Wolf’s Protection

He’s killed people. He’s been in jail. He won’t talk about his birth pack.

Adam’s mysterious past was part of what made the Mad Dog Saloon such a draw. It made people curious, but Mary didn’t care about rumors. People looked at the black tattoos wrapping his muscular arms and neck and imagined the worst. But what she knew that some of the regulars didn’t was that he was a wolf, which ma...

An excerpt from A Wolf’s Protection

He topped up the beer to the rim and set it on the counter.

Mary Winston grabbed it immediately and positioned it on her full tray. With one of his less experienced waitresses he would worry about such an overladen tray, but not with Mary. She was the best. He could pour fast drinks and Garry could make the tastiest grub, but if the waitress was bad at her job it was all for shit. Lucki...

An excerpt from Pursued By the Wolf (A Werewolf’s Curse #5)

“Um, I…” She cleared her throat. “I wanted to let you know that you could stay at my house tonight if you wanted.”

His eyebrows rose in a question. There was hope in his eyes.

The wrong kind of hope.

“With the storm and stuff.” She waved her hand through the air. “I thought if the roads get bad, you’ll need a place to crash. That’s all. I’m not thinking about anything else.” She blu...

An excerpt from Pursued By the Wolf (A Werewolf’s Curse #5)

Carson leaned against the door jamb of the only escape from the over-stuffed room. The number of bodies in there exceeded the fire limit posted on the wall, but the Fire Chief didn’t seem to notice. After all, all the important people in town were here. It’d be impossible to turn someone away without political ramifications. Yep, the emergency committee had certainly gone all out. T...
