The Harem Official 2014 Book Release Dates
We are pleased to announce that The Harem book release has been bumped up to an earlier date! Instead of our previously scheduled time frame in early December 2014, The Harem will now be officially released:
NOVEMBER 2014
NOVEMBER 14th: eBook version released online
NOVEMBER 21st: print version released online
We are having two dates, one for each type of format for two distinct reasons. We want to make The Harem available to those who would like an eBook edition sooner and to all for any additional changes or alterations that may need to occur with for printed copies.
The WINNERS from our Facebook Like Contest and the Goodreads Giveaway will be sent their printed editions first, which is why we have a week delay on ordering printed copies. As soon as the pre-order buttons are activated, you’ll know when you can start placing your orders!
The Harem will be released on Amazon immediately and soon will be available in other locations. We’ll keep you up to date on all the information.

Formatting The Harem for Print
Hey all you The Harem fans and friends! We’re pleased to announce that we’ve just finished formatting The Harem for all print books and are starting the editing process to make sure everything lines up and looks great! Check out this screenshot of it in Adobe Acrobat:
After a technical and content review and editing for the print version is complete, we’ll be moving onto the next formatting process for eBooks.
The Harem will be one single novel. We made some modifications to the font size and other factors, which means that by making these changes, the entire story can and will fit into the self-publishing page restriction. The novel is officially 558 pages.
We’re still scheduled for an official book release in early December 2014 as of right now. We’re ahead of schedule, so there is a chance for the release date to be bumped up on the calendar. When we have the official release date for The Harem, we’ll let you know.

The Writing of The Harem is Complete!
The writing of The Harem has officially completed! We are now in the next phase of editing before we start formatting for print.
The Harem will be offered in paperback, ebook and hardcover formats prior to the audiobook’s release. Since The Harem will be self published, we are doing our best to make the novel into one complete print. The challenge, most self publishing printers don’t allow prints above 800+ pages. We may need to make The Harem as a two volume book set.
The Hare is still on schedule for its release in early December!

The Interview
College is supposed to prepare you for the rest of your life. I was told that to be successful I had to go to school, and that the further I went, the more successful I’d be. So, I followed that sage advice with no aspirations of grandeur or epic philosophies to change the world. I just wanted to graduate and get a decent job. Hopefully, I’d like my job. Every adult I knew as a child hated their job. How many jobs are there for an average socioeconomics student really anyhow? How many jobs are there period with so much automation from software and robotics? Nearly every sector of industry has adopted technologies that eliminate jobs and sold it to the public under the auspice of efficiency for market competition and price reduction. Unions had a heyday with that idea. Plus, working your way through school is nearly impossible and student loans keep you enslaved for most of your adult life.
Well, not me. I am determined to find another way. All the families like Sylvia’s, that have money, found a way to build their fortunes, and if they can do it, I can do it too. I will not stop until I find my own path to wealth and true freedom. I know it will have to be something very different.
While I might be average as a student, my love for the college greens and sunshine are exemplary. If it were possible, I would consider sleeping on the greens. They’re so beautiful and calming. The trees are all evenly spaced with a spattering of carefully shaped shrubs here and there. The walkways are all neat and clean. For a community college everything is very well kept. The size of the student population has been growing of late despite the global economic turmoil, but the dean seems to be managing the expansions very well fiscally. You can always tell a good leader by the shape of the public grounds, roads and sidewalks.
Some folks in the community call the money spent on the appearance of the college as wastefully unnecessary, but people generally hear ninety percent with their eyes. I’m learning that humans are visual creatures. We like things that are new and shiny. Visual arts became it’s own vernacular decades ago and telekinetic technologies are finally conveying images. It’s so strange to think that there was ever a time in history where business studies didn’t require the complete mastery of every form of visual arts; drawing, painting, graphic design, film, video, photography. Even kindergarten starts with visual arts while simultaneously teaching abstract software scripting, numbers, reading and writing.
My best, and only real friend, Sylvia is walking toward me from across the greens. I haven’t seen her for awhile, so it’s nice to see her heading my way. I thought she had class right now. It wouldn’t be the first class she’s skipped, but something is different this time. She seems to be bouncing toward me; not running or skipping, just springing from the balls of her feet. Anytime she walks like that it makes her long blond hair bounce more than usual, along with other parts of her developed female figure. She knows it draws attention and loves every second of it. What most don’t know is that when she walks this way it also means she’s got a secret, and can’t wait to tell me. I immediately begin to wonder whom she’s seduced this time.
There was a very cute boy at the last fraternity party we both attended a month ago. Of all the guys that hit on her that night, the tall blond was actually very easy on the eyes, but also genuinely nice. It would be great if it was him. Sylvia picks some real losers sometimes, but he seemed very cool. I’d like to see her with someone like that.
My action has been consistently dismal for as long as I can remember; let’s just say non-existent is more accurate. Sylvia is constantly reprimanding me for being unapproachable and shabby looking. She’s a good friend, but I don’t have the money or time to be concerned about my looks or boys. My grades need resuscitation and I don’t have a family vault to back me up. I know that guys find me attractive, but I’m not interested in the investment either. They want a lot of attention. I already have Sylvia getting most of that in my pittance of spare time.
Sylvia adopted me as her pet project at the beginning of my freshman year in high school. We’ve grown very close since then and I can read her body language easily. However, the last couple years have seen us spending less and less time together, but I keep convincing myself that it’s part of growing up and is much better that way. I don’t have free time to hang out leisurely. Between working as a part time waitress and maintaining my grades, I can’t take my eyes off the ball.
That notion sits better than the truth. In my heart, I know that Sylvia has become distant for a long time now, but I can’t figure out why. I just hope it’s not another boy and that maybe she’s finally really focused on graduation. She really has to think about her future, because nowadays the market is so difficult to find employment of any kind. All the economic and political disasters of the last thirty years are still sending shock waves throughout the world. The disparity between out on the streets broke and uber-wealthy is shockingly obvious everywhere you turn.
………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….Until more . . .
Thanks for reading and listening!
