Review: Chris Fabry’s “Saving Grayson”
Author Chris Fabry teams up with Jerry Jenkins, Focus on the Family and Tyndale House Publishers to bring the novel “Saving Grayson” this fall.
In the contemporary fiction book, Grayson Hayes is dealing with an Alzheimer’s diagnosis and is determined to right the wrongs in his life…. while he still remembers them. His current wife, Charlotte, allows him to take a cross country road trip from their home in Arizona to his hometown on the east coast. At the suggestion of his doctor and his wife, he takes the road trip with a man named Josh, who Grayson can only recall his ethnicity everytime his memory escapes him. Josh has a secret connection to Grayson that only Grayson discovers at the end of the book. Plus, the young woman is Grayson’s dreams is real, and he uncovers the truth about his vision. He finally meets her after his long trip. The entire tale unfolds as a story of learning to unconditionally love others, ourselves and the power of true forgiveness.
“Saving Grayson” is a melodrama on paper and quite the tearjerker. It’s for readers who enjoy a good cry, while learning valuable life lessons in their literature. Grayson’s reconnection with his brother Sam and childhood friend Pooch put a little added variety in the emotional mix. “Saving Grayson” is less than 300 pages, so you’ll be able to easily absorb the message in a short amount of time.
“Saving Grayson” is scheduled to be released on November 7th, 2023.
A Special Thanks to Tyndale House Publishers and Focus on the Family for the advance reader copy of the book and cover image.

[Interview] 6 Questions With Musician Brad Alden
BTSCelebs: Who is Brad Alden professionally?
Brad Alden: A redeemed musician with the intention to glorify and represent Christ through music, life, business, and marriage.
What sparked your interest in inspirational music?
During the most broken time in my life I was introduced me to worship music. God met me where I was at., and showed me His intention for my passion for music. It all made so much sense when the lights came on.
Tell us the inspiration behind your “Awaken the Soul in Me” single.
“Awake the Soul in me” is a prayer put to music really. The song speaks to a broken person, a new believer, or a Christian who needs a new fire from the inside out.
What is the most fulfilling thing about being a Worship Director at your church?
Being able to live, work, and create with the most important purpose there is. To turn people towards Jesus.
For non-believers and believers alike, what do you hope people take away from your music ministry?
That God has a purpose for anyone and everyone. It doesn’t have to look like, or sound like anything or anyone else. Just press into God, and ask Him to continue to clarify His purpose for your life, and be brave enough to walk into your calling.
What new projects or live performances should we anticipate from you for the remainder of 2023 and into early 2024?
We are worshipping live every week either with our home church Coastline Community Church (thecoastlinechurch.com) or somewhere in the world. I just released a beautiful song called “Did you know (he loves us)” online which was written during my time at Angelus temple (church of the Dream Center). Its a really beautiful song. We have a really incredible video for a song called “RAIN” recorded live that we will share later this summer/fall recorded live at Coastline, featuring my dear friend Noel Robinson from London .
