Next thing I knew, I landed on Instagram. Did nothing for a while months! So if youre on Instagram, do follow me, yes? From time to time, Facebook runs ads there for me. But I do hop over there every now and then. I havent taken it seriously, as you can tell from the number of posts Ive made: all of TWO.
So many places to go, so little time. Most of the time, Im in my writng cave, writing the next books. Speaking of which, STEP WITH ME (Seaside Chapel Book 2) is coming out soon. Preorder now if you like. Im doing a low-key rollout on April 5, 2017. Thats because I have yet another book due the same month, and must be working on it.

In My Writing Nook...

Patience, readers! STEP WITH ME (Seaside Chapel Book 2) will be out soon. Revising and polishing are not easy tasks. Most of the time, I write by hand on paper. Then I let it sit a bit. Then I revise-type on my Mac. Im usually able to write very clean scenes and chapters that require very little further revisions.
Then my copyeditor gets the manuscript for 1-2 weeks. Then I get it back, and see what she has found. I correct what I agree with. Then I send the file back to her for double checking. Then we proofread a lot. Then were done and Im ready to format and publish.
Now, all the above gets complicated when I have to do research. That can take a long time weeks, months, years and it depends on what I am researching. That will add more time ot the writing, for sure. This happens for anything I write with suspense and thriller elements in in.
To top it all, the entire process begins with plotting and outlining. That is the most time-consuming part of my writing process. I can plot for weeks, months, years...
I Peter 5:6

"Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time (I Peter 5:6).
Interview and Giveaway

I had a wonderful interview at author Shannon Browns blog. Check it out. Heres an excerpt of my answers to some romantic questions
Romance is . . .
1. Chocolate? Flowers? Which gift makes your heart go pitter patter? Or is it something else?
Flowers! But sometimes its a toss-up with chocolate LOL.
3. Mountains, beach, big city, small town, ruralDoes one of those say romance to you?
All of the above. My romance series have settings in many places which I consider romantic. For example, my entire series Savannah Sweethearts and Seaside Chapel are set in beach towns and on the beach. And my Vacation Sweethearts series take readers to the mountains and islands and overseas where my characters find love.
5. Looking at the stories youve created, which book and chapter has the most romantic scene?
I like all of them, so its hard to pick favorites. I think my favorite scenes of all in my books that have these scenes are the proposal and wedding scenes.
7. Where in the world is the most romantic vacation destination? Have you been there or is it on your list of places to visit?
Several of my favorite places are in my Vacation Series. In Reach for Me (Vacation Sweethearts Book 2), I invite readers to come with my hero and heroine to the Great Smoky Mountains. Love that place where my husband and I have visited. The next novel in this series is set in Alaska! Very romantic setting and I hope to go back again some day.
9. Do you believe in love at first sight?
I think love at first sight can happen. I have heard of real life couples who have fallen in love the first time they saw each other and have then gone on to be married for decades. It didnt happen to me personally, but I believe them when they said they fell head over heels at first blush!
The novel I featured is REACH FOR ME (Vacation Sweethearts Book 2). Hope you enjoy Keenans and Phoebes story.
