Happy Fathers Day

"Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise; That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth (Ephesians 6:2-3).
Fathers Day USA is this Sunday, June 18th!
If your father is still alive, treasure him! Both my dad and my husbands dad have passed away, sadly. Yet, I am reminded that God is our Father, and He is forever.
Happy Fathers Day!

"These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world (John 16:33).
Remember the words of Jesus. He has overcome the world. Praise the Lord.

Press On

"I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:14).
Someone asked a question in a writers group about how each of us decided to become an indie author. Heres my response.
I had been writing for almost twenty years, but was unpublished. I was bursting with stories to tell that I wanted to publish. When I found out that there was a lot of waiting in traditional publishing, that sometimes it takes years to get books to market, that bookstores are closing, and after all that hard work, the royalties are what? Never mind. I decided that with my own previous experience in running my own business, I can hire professional editors and cover designers, and I can publish my own books. Armed with prayer and research, I went forth. Three years and fifteen published books later, I'm a happy indie. No regrets.
If youre not familiar with my books, here are some of my current and upcoming series:
