While the room is melting And The Shadows come to call - Our interstellar dance steps invent history - Military Inserts insects Into my brain - Crows fly from me - so close to the whisper of an artery - Join us for air so thin you won’t breath - deterioration devours us - Thousands of spiders, centipedes, flies Erupted from my eyelids - they sacrificed themselves for the profit of a few - Crematorium Bursting with the gritty sooty dead - how could I have seen a spider from across the room, in the dark? - Did it go under the bed?

A Few Lines from my MALFORMED CONFETTI
"Once upon a time I wished to be wan
with black tips. Sooty tern in place of heart,
pecking, pecking. The shell cracks; it seeps
bone meal. Furry poltergeists sip from
my marrow like maggots
working a wound, little sinners
to digest the dead flesh until
the fur bristles.
It looked like a suckling pig between the legs
again, but one of my holes was birthing
a whole peccary."

"Juliet is one of the coolest poets I have ever read and this one is another gem. The poems I related to the most were the title poem, ‘Bloodlines’, ‘House of Her Cards’, ‘Bookmarks Stuck Inside Cracked Columns’ and ‘Blood on the Unpillowed Cases’. Juliet is so creative and twisted, you can’t help but want to get lost in her words. Her world. This book is excellent quality."
