Dirty streets
filled with feets
standing still
like someone forgot
to remind them
they had a dream to catch.

It’s easy to ignore
when my toes freeze
to stone.
With a mind sky-high
and eyes buried inside,
I forget - I’ve lied to myself.
I’m not alone
in the dream
to catch the throne.
In this shared pursuit;
perhaps we can
lend a helping hand
and not
cast aspersions
from imploding
soap boxes
