R. L. Ankney is a kind of a night job, really. Meaning, I only have time to work on it in the dark of night. Is it any wonder I wrote a creepy horror/ scifi thriller? No, not really. But here's the weird thing... horror movies give me the willies!!! Lol.. Yes now you all know my dark secret! I, R. L. Ankney, am afraid of the dark after writing. How about this? The inspiration for Soul Eaters came from a nightmare I had. I awoke scared to death and shook my husband awake. The first words out of my mouth were: "I had the worst dream. But, it'll make one hell of a book!"
