I never went to school for editing, but consider myself a pretty good at proof reading.
I finally received my own copy of my book a couple days ago, and read it. I found about 10 errors after reading it. :-( Kind of bummed me out because some of the errors were like, "how could you miss that."
It looks like my next book I'll have to hire a real editor.
The good news, fixed all the mistakes shaking my head at myself and resubmitted it, today. =)
