Mature Fantasy Romance now available on Audible

My newest narration has just released on Audible.com -- The Patient by Linda Thackeray. It is a compelling fantasy adventure romance, with a fast-moving, well-written plot. Check it out here: https://www.audible.com/pd/B092FYC7CZ...

Four hundred years ago, the elven realm lost their greatest magician to the modern world. Now, they are returning to avenge the forces that took him.

When the world was known as Avalyne, humans and magical beings lived in harmony. But over time, the elves retreated behind the Veil that separates the modern world from the magical realm.

In present day New York, psychiatrist Doctor Dan Ellis finds himself treating an elderly homeless man, brought in for vandalizing the imposing Malcolm Industries building. The old man insists on calling Dan "War Dragon", but can recall nothing of his own past or identity.

Dan is not the only one interested in the old man’s treatment. Malcolm Industries are keen for Doctor Ellis to hand the petty criminal over to them, for reasons unexplained.

Meanwhile, three elven brothers slip from behind the Veil to search the world for the evil that befell their greatest protector. But all is not as it appears, and it seems their allies are every bit as concealed as their foes.

As Dan struggles to reinstate his patient’s memory, he discovers a secret that threatens not only his life, but the lives of those around him.

Can magic triumph over an invisible evil that has ruled the planet for centuries?

If you love fantasy, fun, and heartwarming characters, check out Finneas Grey and the Vial of Nech by Trevor Darby and narrated by me! It was just released on Audible at:
https://www.audible.com/pd/B085T2PRD8...

Here is the blurb:

Finn knows one thing....

…trying to be popular can be scary.

What will he do when he meets an ogre?

At school, Finn is a typical nerd. He wears glasses, loves fantasy games, and excels at science. But he has one flaw, a selfish streak that sometimes gets him in trouble. Trying to be cool has its price, especially if you make fun of your best friend, Audie, to try to impress the jocks.

She is mad and hurt.

Audie thought they were BFFs.

But friends don't do that.

In a world of magic, elves, dwarfs, and fantastic creatures, a struggle rages on. When Finn and Audie, who is still mad at him, find themselves thrust into this alternate reality, they are unprepared for what comes next.

Who will help them?

What is the secret to the world of Nesteryia?

You'll love this YA fantasy, because Trevor Darby creates a magical world with wonderful characters and real dangers.

Get it now.

New Audiobook Release: a murder mystery

I had great fun narrating Mark McNease's murder mystery, Murder at the Paisley Parrot: A Marshall James Novel. It has just been released on Audible, Amazon, and iTunes. Check it out on Audible here: https://www.audible.com/pd/Mysteries-...

Time waits for no one, including Marshall James. Now 58 and living in New York City, Marshall has outlived the expiration date he was given with a cancer diagnosis three years ago. He beat the odds, but he knows he may not beat the clock. So he’s decided to tell a story or three about some murders he was involved in back in the day.

The year was 1983. The bar was the Paisley Parrot in Hollywood, a gay, mob-run dive where people came to drink and few of them remembered the night before. Marshall loves his job as a bartender there. But one night, among the regulars, a killer arrives. Body by body, death by death, Marshall finds himself pulled into a web of murder, deceit, and crime, with a psychopath waiting at the center of it all. Marshall falls for the cop who is investigating him, not knowing if their relationship will survive or even if he'll come out of this alive. Find out before last call comes around, in Murder at the Paisley Parrot.

Audiobook released: The Ring of Carnac (Tales of Gaspar, Book 2)

The second book in the Tales of Gaspar fantasy adventure series, THE RING OF CARNAC, has just been released on audio, narrated by Fred Wolinsky. This is a fun YA fantasy, following the next adventure of Kay and Jerra after THE ROAD TO NYN.

Ahoy, mateys! If you're scared of pirates, witches, and goblins, read no further! But if you're a brave soul, come aboard for the ride of your life! It's an adventure on the high seas for Alamin's wizarding apprentices, Kay and Jerra, but it's definitely not a pleasure cruise. They are in a race against time to stop the witch, Krellia, from releasing an ancient evil from its thousand-year-old prison. Only the Ring of Carnac holds the key to stopping Krellia and her pirate and goblin minions. Unfortunately, the ring has been missing for hundreds of years, and the one person who may hold the clue to the ring's whereabouts an odd, reclusive wizard who lives on an island far to the south. Alamin promises to protect his young apprentices on their journey, but, when Kay and Jerra become prisoners aboard a pirate ship where magic doesn't work, their adventure seems like it will end before it has hardly begun!
