New Book

Today I've dusted off the beginning of Sensation 3. This is a project that's an independent venture as Siren doesn't wish to publish it. So, similar to A Butterfly's Fire, I'll be going it alone.

Naturally, I'll have an editor take a look at the parts of the book and the areas of most importance to me. Grammer, plot.

I don't have a title for this yet and it will probably take me several months to complete it as I'm working on other books at the moment. As I said before I wanted to finish the Fairy Mafia series this year or at least end the current arc. So, that will have priority as will Cozy Bend and Assassin's Core and then Coyote Bound.

I'll be taking it slow on this one, but I'll share some excerpts from time to time as I work. I'll also share some excerpts from AC as I progress. I'm just in the first act and I made a change Friday that affects the point of views I'll be telling the story from.

Originally, I was going to tell the story from Detective Russell's point of view but given some things I want to do, I won't. I don't want to include too many points of view in the story and given the fact I wanted to conceal a singular point, I decided not to tell this story from Russell's point of view in any form.

When she's with April, I might switch to her point of view on occasion, but it will be rare.

But the Butterfly story is definitely a go for this year. I will probably work this series in trilogies and close the arc for this trilogy in this book. However, I have other stories planned for the series, so we'll see some of the characters again.

Once I close this arc though I'll be looking to work on another independent project. The Succubus Heat series.

But for today, I am writing on AC and Butterfly 3.

Happy Reading
