The date for Fallen Soul's release is finally set! There's been a lot of challenges over the last year and a half and I am so excited and relieved to get to this point. It will be released on Kindle and Paperback June 10th! (Paperbacks may lag a couple days behind.)
Thank you to all my patient fans and readers! I know this day has had to be pushed back several times. The Cover Reveal will be posted on my Facebook and Instagram feeds tomorrow.

Update on coming release
I know it's been a few months since there's been any word on the release of Fallen Soul . I am happy to announce that I'm looking over preliminary cover sketches and have gotten back final edits.
I am reasonably confident that after all these delays and problems over the last year that I will have it out within the next month or two. If I'm really lucky, maybe by the end of this month . . . but I won't tempt the bad luck charm again.
I want to thank everyone for being patient, there has been a number of issues at fault for the delay. Hopefully the wait won't be much longer.

Happy Holiday News
I hope everyone had or is having a safe and happy holiday! I have been waylaid at home for awhile battling Covid-19. I have been lucky so far, as its been fairly mild, and I'm hoping I'm rounding the curve on it, but it's taken it's toll.
Due to this and a recent injury as well, I have had to postpone the release of the newest addition to the War of Destiny Series. I am hoping to have it out sometime early 2021 now.
If you are interested in starting the series, the first book Lost Soul is on sale through the end of the year.
Most importantly, please stay safe and minimize your risk: Wash your hands, wear a mask, and stay home when you can. We all can start making indents into our tbr lists for next year!
Merry Christmas, Happy Kwanzaa, Happy Hanukkah!

Upcoming Release
Originally I had planned to release the next book of the series, Fallen Soul this month, but due to injury and other circumstances, I have had to postpone the release until next month. I am hoping that it will be on pace to be released by Mid-December.
The following is the book Blurb for Fallen Soul . I will release more information as I have it.
Feared. Hunted. Shunned.
Lane Marlow has been on the run for decades. Condemned for feeding off his own kind, he escaped Valentino, King of the Vampires. As rumors circulate about how such a young vampire escaped, Valentino orders him killed on sight. Lane manages to elude or kill all those who came after him before disappearing.
But now, Lane longs for the home he had been forced to abandon. As he starts to make his way back to Ireland, he is discovered in Rome. Realizing that his quarry is still very much alive, Valentino sends two of his Council members to lead the hunt.
As Lane battles those sent after him, he stumbles across a group of vampires who are different than any he’s ever dealt with. They don’t attack him. They don’t run from him. And they live with humans. But are they unexpected allies, or just another obstacle to getting home?

Titles and Beta-Readers
The Lane story is rapidly drawing to its conclusion and I'm holding a title poll on my facebook page. I've enjoyed working on this project and have Lane's character fill out. The story even took me for a few surprises I didn't expect!
If you're interested in voting for a title you can do so here:
https://www.facebook.com/WarofDestiny/ . The poll is pinned to the top of the page.
I'm also looking for 3-6 beta-readers to be available in mid-July or so. So much progress has been made! Very exciting!
If you have any questions, feel free to comment them. I will have the details of the beta-reading available by the first week of July!
Thank you to all my supporters!

The Bane of Titles
As I'm nearing the end of the story, I realized I really need to start thinking of a title. "Lane's Story" is a great working title, but it's a bit boring.
There's two parts of the creative process (arguably also the marketing process) that I loathe. 1: I have great difficulty coming up with titles. Occasionally I stumble onto a gem like "Between Darkness & Light" but otherwise, I find it quite maddening. 2: Book Blurbs. I have trouble with these as well.
I try to match a good title with the character or story theme. But I find myself vexed at the moment. I envy those whose titles just come to them.
The small plus is that I think I have part of the blurb figured out. The negative is that I don't have the second part of it sorted or a title.
Do others find it this difficult as well?

Quarantine Musings
Hello everyone! I hope you are all safe and well. This has been a crazy month or two, hasn't it?
This is a time for book lovers to make use what they love to do, stay home and read a book. Of course, even us book lovers might get a little stir crazy just reading all the time. Have you mixed it up by doing puzzles, word searches, and paint-by-number? If you have the ability perhaps you've walked the dog or taken a leisurely walk through the woods - at a safe distance from others of course!
I work in retail, so when I'm not at work, I have been spending my time reading and playing Zelda. I've taken my pug for walks when the weather cooperates. And I've been doing a lot of writing. I've been making progress in two works in progress in the War of Destiny series. For me, writing is a way to cope with the stress.
I know some places are starting to reopen more businesses. Everyone stay safe out there.

Matthew’s face was unreadable. “His name is Lane. Lane Marlow. He’s from Ireland.”
“That would explain why he knew English,” I muttered.
“You’re lucky he didn’t kill you!”
“Why would he kill me?” I glared at him. “If he is so ‘dangerous’ why didn’t any of you tell me about him?”
“We did not tell you because we thought he was dead. We hadn’t heard any reports about him in almost thirty years.”
