Updates and Sale on Book 1: Lost Soul
Hello everyone! I wanted to let you all know that
is on a kindle countdown sale through the 22nd! As for other news...
I've been tied up with medical issues, but I am revising and editing Book 5 of the series as I am able to do so. I am hoping to have it ready by the end of this year or early next. It will once again be from Julia's p.o.v.
Fans of Matthew will be excited to hear that there will also be a side story available around the same time from his p.o.v. If you found yourself curious as to what he was up to when he was separated from the rest of the ka-tet between the events of Books 2 and 3, or how he met the Medicis, this will be a interesting tale.
Events from this story are only referenced a few times through upcoming Book 5, so you don't need to read it to understand the main plot line, but there's neat little eggs that will entertain and give a more in depth look into what Mattheew had gone through.
Thank you to my loyal fans who are continuing to read the series, spread the word, and leave reviews for other readers. I really appreciate it.

News and Sales
Hello everyone! I've been busy working on the next installment of the War of Destiny series. I have started editing it, and hope to have it ready by late this year or early next for release.
I have also completed a side story in the same world. I will be working on editing it later this year. Matthew fans can rejoice as they get a chance to learn more about him and his adventure with the Medicis away from the ka-tet.
I would also like to announce that books 1 through 3 will be on sale on consecutive weeks. All will be priced at 99 cents.

Interview with a Vampire - Lane
A character interview with Lane, the rogue and narrator of the recently released book 4 of the series, Fallen Soul.
In keeping with my tradition of interviewing the narrators and main characters of my books, I have tracked down Lane who preferred not to meet in a restaurant or bar, but on a small road backed up to a forest’s edge. I admit to feeling a little more trepidation meeting him than I did with the others.
He watched me approach without a word and I kept my small flashlight pointed at the ground. No need to upset my interviewee. Thank you for agreeing to meet with me, Lane. This shouldn’t take very long. I only have a few questions.
He raised a single eyebrow, but otherwise said nothing.
Right… he said he would answer questions, but considering his history, I wasn’t as sure. Still, I think he would get annoyed if I tried to draw this out, so I decided to get down to business.
Does living as a vampire have the same appeal as prior to being turned (if you’re that type of vampire)? If you had to do it over, would you?
Vampires are evil. I don’t see the appeal. (Lane frowned.) No, I wouldn’t.
I’m assuming then that you don’t believe vampires have souls? Do you believe your soul is lost? What happens when you die?
(He tilted his head slightly as if seriously considering the question.) Their souls are tainted just as mine is.
And what happens when you die? I asked again.
(Lane shrugged and remained silent.)
What’s it like to be a vampire?
Unpleasant.
If you live forever, or for thousands of years, and are difficult to kill, and are very strong and powerful… how do you not become a sociopath? And go off and start doing anything you want and acting on any impulse?
(Lane blinked and crossed his arms.) I believe many already are. Vampires are monsters, and I kill them.
You kill all other vampires you meet? Would you kill yourself?
Most. The King of the Vampires wants me dead, so I probably don’t have to kill myself first. I need only worry about taking out as many of them as I can before they succeed.
I see. And what do you think of the recent fashion for vampire books and films? Has it made your life harder or easier?
(He grimaced and shook his head.) Almost all of it is lies. There’s nothing romantic or good about being one of us.
There are vampires who disagree with you about that.
Lane simply stared at me and I got the impression he was becoming annoyed with my questions.
Um, one last question. If you had the choice to no longer be a vampire – to just be a human again – would you go for it?
He looked sad for a second, and then angry. That answer should be obvious.
He stepped toward me and I backed away. Ye-Yes. Thank you for your time, Lane. I’ll be heading home now. He smiled and caught my gaze with his light gray eyes.
Sometime later, I woke on the grass with no memory of where I was or how I had gotten there. Shakily, I stood up and looked around. Wasn’t I supposed to meet someone here? I couldn’t remember. There was no one in sight.
