It's Coming Along

Don't ask me how I did it, but I completed the preliminary outline for The Last Valentine. I had most of the beginning and ending in my head, and the middle chapters just flowed out of me. I'm very happy about this, but as I make a more detailed outline (lots of research needs to be done), I know I'll find plot holes that might send me whizzing in a different direction, but it 's a start. Here we go again, book number nine coming down the pike. Whee!

The Lost Valentine Outline Progress Report

I've been working on my preliminary outline for The Lost Valentine, and I'm liking it so far. That redheaded gal is fun to write about. Plus I get to write about Matty Cruz again. Close to half way done. Wish me luck.

Cover for 3rd Carol Karuso Book

I really liked the artist (Cover Quill) I used for the first two books in the Carol Karuso series. Right now, I'm thinking the series will likely be a trilogy concentrating on how Carol goes from being a novice investigator to a journeyman one. To make the covers consistent, I bought another cover from Cover Quill, even though the third book is just a twinkling in my eye and some notes on a page. If you want a peek of all three covers, look below.

The Lost Romeo Cover & Mini-Blurb

After going back and forth with titles and covers for the next book in the Carol Karuso Mystery series, I finally settled on both. I think it goes well with the first book cover, don't you? Now I just have to hurry up and finish the book. Shout out to Cover Quill for their excellent work.

Mini-Blurb: Carol Karuso has made more than her share of mistakes when it comes to picking lovers and boyfriends. When a particularly heinous womanizer from her recent past disappears, she could care less. That is until her best friend guilts her into helping his daughter look for him. Will Carol's developing skills as an investigator be enough to find this lost Romeo before he becomes a dead one?

Paperbacks are $7.99 on Createspace

Print on Demand is expensive, especially when you sell through multiple channels. To make the paperback versions of my longer works more affordable, I've made them exclusive to Creatspace (https://www.createspace.com/pub/simpl...). They are offered in an an easy-to-read 11-point font and in an also easy-to-hold 5.25 X 8 inch format. Tell your friends.

Fallen Angel has become The Lost Rose

Though I loved the cover and title for the first Carol Karuso Mystery book, unfortunately both were confusing to readers. Many thought it was a paranormal novel about angels. My bad. So, I've retitled it and replaced the cover with something that I hope will attract readers who might be interested in a book about a redheaded detective on the trail of the lost. Hope you like it.
