Law of Attraction: Focus and Direct Its Power

The Law of Consistent Action

In all your pursuits, it is important to first have the foundation in place for positive thinking in your life; believing in yourself, and having the expectation you will achieve your goals/have success (Law of Attraction).

Mentor Me, Mentor Me Gate, Ken Poirot, Ken Poirot Quote, The Law of Attraction, The Law of Consistent Action, Focus, Direct, EnergyAfter you have this foundation, then take the next steps; direct and focus the energy of the Law of Attraction like a laser beam to unleash its full potential in your life.

Energy diffuses and loses its effectiveness when it is dispersed over a large area of space and time. Energy needs to be concentrated and sent in a unified direction in order to consolidate its power and strength.

How do you focus and direct the power of the Law of Attraction in your life? How can you maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of its energy?

The answer is to take the following steps: plan, implement (the execution of that plan), and adjust (making changes in your plan to fine tune its effectiveness and efficiency).

That is the Law of Consistent Action: Take positive consistent action; formulate a plan to achieve your goals, implement that plan, and make adjustments along the way.

By using The Law of Consistent Action you can focus and direct the full energy of the Law of Attraction to most effectively and efficiently achieve success and your goal(s) in life!

Formulate Your Plan and Take the Next Steps

When I wrote Mentor Me: GA=T+E—A Formula to Fulfill Your Greatest Achievement, my plan and implementation, my vision, was to help people create their own blueprint for achieving their goal(s) in life. To give people the steps and tools they need in order to formulate and attain their Greatest Achievement (lifetime goal). This book is all about taking positive, consistent action: The Law of Consistent Action.

Mentor Me, Mentor Me Gate, Ken Poirot, Ken Poirot Quote, The Law of Attraction, The Law of Consistent Action, Focus, Direct, EnergyYou will see this Law of Consistent Action permeates throughout Mentor Me, although it is never stated; it is an intentional theme throughout the book. The whole book is about formulating a plan, aligning your Time (T) and Energy (E) in order to implement that plan, effectively communicating with others to improve relationships, and positively influencing others around you.

You are more likely to achieve your goal(s) if you take positive, consistent action toward achieving your goal(s). (In addition to having and maintaining a positive attitude and mindset.) Wouldn’t you agree?

The Law of Consistent Action is all about channeling that mindset and positive energy behind The Law of Attraction. Focusing and directing its energy by positioning your Time (T) and Energy (E) (planning and the implementation of that plan) in order to achieve your goal(s).

Of course, this also means measuring your progress along the way to your goal(s), so you can choose the best adjustments needed.

This is the real secret revelation behind The Law of Attraction. By focusing and directing the Law of Attraction, formulating a plan to achieve your desired goal(s), and then implementing that plan (making adjustments to your plan along the way in order to maximize its efficiency), you dramatically increase the speed and amplitude of achieving your goal(s).

The Law of Consistent Action - One can focus and direct the energy of the Law of Attraction by taking positive, consistent action; formulate a plan, implement it, and make adjustments along the way.

Focus and Direct the Law of Attraction

When you combine the Law of Attraction with the Law of Consistent Action you become an unstoppable force in the pursuit and achievement of your goal(s).

Just like a guided missile, you program yourself to make measured adjustments along the way to your goal(s), with your vision always set on hitting your target.

Mentor Me, Mentor Me Gate, Ken Poirot, Ken Poirot Quote, The Law of Attraction, The Law of Consistent Action, Focus, Direct, EnergyLive your life with the Law of Attraction coupled with the Law of Consistent Action and you will greatly increase the amplitude and speed of your success, regardless of what goal(s) you set your sights on achieving.

Use The Law of Consistent Action to focus and direct the energy of the Law of Attraction to its maximum power and strength in your life:

1. Formulate

2. Implement

3. Adjust

Take positive consistent action; formulate a plan to achieve your goals, implement that plan, and make adjustments along the way (The Law of Consistent Action)!

Words: Their Power on Our Future History

What is Education?

I often think how fortunate I am to have received the gift of a good education. Yet, it was not until my senior year at the university that I finally learned the true meaning of the word, “education.”

Mentor Me, Mentor Me Gate, Ken Poirot, Ken Poirot Quote, Ken Poirot Quotes, Quotations by Ken Poirot, Mentor Me Book, Mentor Me Quote, Mentor Me Quotes, Power, Words, Future, History, Future HistoryBy chance, this meaning came in the form of an elective, “Native American Studies.” The professor walked into the lecture hall (about 400 students) on the first day of class and declared, “The Founding Fathers of this country were all land speculators who were only concerned with making money!” He went on to say how they were motivated purely by economic reasons; all we had ever heard about freedom, life, liberty, the pursuit of happiness, and any/all higher ideals were not their true intentions.

The professor was an attorney who took up Native American causes. He was once under surveillance by the FBI for his “subversive” teachings during the Red Scare in the 1950′s.

It wasn’t the content of what he said, delivered for shock value. It wasn’t the material of which you, I, or historians can argue, agree, or disagree. I didn’t subscribe to all his words or theories, but the overriding theme brought me the true meaning of word, “education.”

The True Meaning of Education

The valuable lessons I learned:

1. Question everything!

Every word written and every word spoken is colored by someone’s bias; the biases of their upbringing, experiences, beliefs, expectations, core values, and inevitably the lens from which they view the world.

Every word we have ever been spoon fed in life has been colored in some way by someone else’s bias. Therefore, it is important for us to question everything.

2. Seek out the truth!

Ask the questions, find the facts, and the answers—each of us for ourselves. This way, we can all form our own opinions based upon our own understanding and excavation of facts, rather than blindly accepting someone else’s biased words.

3. Truth is often twilight!

Very often the truth is somewhere in between. Some degree of twilight; not so strictly defined as night or day.

Our Future History

Mentor Me, Mentor Me Gate, Mentor Me Book, Mentor Me Quote, Mentor Me Quotes, Ken Poirot, Ken Poirot Quote, Ken Poirot Quotes, Quotations by Ken Poirot, Power, Words, History, Future, Future HistoryHistory is filled with stories epitomizing the power of words, writing, propaganda, and the media. The ancient Egyptians knew this and so did the Romans and Greeks. We are only beginning to see how they used this power to rewrite their own history in order to affect or change their present and future.

What will our future history look like? What will it say about us and the times we live in now? What have historians, scholars, officials, politicians, religious leaders, journalists, moms, dads, brothers, sisters, or peers stated about our past, present, and therefore, already affected the future history of our lives?

Who will write your future history? Will it be biased by those in positions of authority and respect around you, or will you write your own?

The Holocaust: How Could This Happen?

Mentor Me, Mentor Me Gate, Mentor Me Book, Mentor Me Quote, Mentor Me Quotes, Ken Poirot, Ken Poirot Quote, Ken Poirot Quotes, Quotations by Ken Poirot, Power, Words, History, Future, Future HistoryThere may be no better example of using written and spoken words to affect future history than the events leading up to The Holocaust. Many people looking back have wondered, “How could this have happened?” How could the leadership of an entire country orchestrate and execute such atrocities? How could a society be brought to the point of genocide to the tune of approximately six million Jews? Could this happen again?

Unfortunately, the answer is “Yes…something similar could happen again.” That is why we all need to be vigilant, question everything, seek out the truth for ourselves, and call out bias whenever we see it—in all of its forms.

For the power of words has the ability to write and affect our future history.

Love and Tolerance

When I wrote Mentor Me there were certain themes I wrote into the book (yes…my personal bias). Themes which were not readily evident with just a quick read. Yes, you can read it as a self-help, self-improvement, achievement, success, or business book and take something positive/helpful from it. Yet, when you dig deeper, and start to peel back some of the layers, you will begin to see some of the non-explicitly written themes.

Mentor Me, Mentor Me Gate, Mentor Me Book, Mentor Me Quote, Mentor Me Quotes, Ken Poirot, Ken Poirot Quote, Ken Poirot Quotes, Quotations by Ken Poirot, Power, Words, History, Future, Future HistoryI wanted the book to be about caring for others, having a positive impact on others’ lives (as well as the reader’s life), and having more patience/tolerance for others. In this sense, the religious theme, “Love Thy Neighbor” is in the book. On purpose this theme is never stated, but it is there.

I did not want this theme to encompass any one specific religion, as I believe this theme to be universally common in the core of mankind in general. I am by no means a religious scholar. I have had friends in my life of many different religions: Buddhist, Hindu, Muslim, Mormon, Baptist, Catholic, Jewish, etc…

From what I know, and from what I have seen, the belief of being good to each other, caring about each other, and trying to live a good life, transcends religion. It seems a universal theme common to mankind and humanity.

The Danger of the Phrase “Islamic Terrorist”

It is with this in mind that I am reminded of the power of words to unknowingly invade the very recesses of our subconscious. After watching the news and the events which unfolded in Paris, France this week, I have seen and heard the phrase, “Islamic Terrorist,” all over the written and spoken media.

Mentor Me, Mentor Me Gate, Mentor Me Book, Mentor Me Quote, Mentor Me Quotes, Ken Poirot, Ken Poirot Quote, Ken Poirot Quotes, Quotations by Ken Poirot, Power, Words, History, Future, Future HistoryI have to admit, my subconscious has already been biased by this phrase. It has been associated with terrorist acts so often since 911, that even the mere presence of the word, “Terrorist,” by itself, automatically conjures up biased images. Why is that the case? Is anyone questioning this form of religious or racial bias?

I have never heard the words “American,” “Christian,” “Jewish,” “African,” “Asian,” “Russian,” “English,” “French,” “Buddhist,” etc…being associated with the word “Terrorist.” Have you?

In this case, I think we all need to take a step back and realize the implications of these words. It is time (and overdue) to divorce/decouple any racial or religious adjective from the word “Terrorist.”

Could the Holocaust happen again? Haven’t we already been biased by the power of words, and therefore, haven’t the beginnings already been sown for the seeds of hatred?

Be mindful of the danger written and spoken words can have on your subconscious.

Question everything! Seek out the truth! Truth is often twilight!

Be vigilant, for words power our future history…

Mentor Me: GA=T+E—Viral Marketing Secret Formula (Quotes and Photos) Preliminary Results

Preliminary Viral Marketing Results. The Secret Formula? Intriguing Results!

In my last post, I revealed my attempt to create a viral marketing campaign for my book based upon using quotes and pictures from my book, Mentor Me: GA=T+E—A Formula to Fulfill Your Greatest Achievement.

quote, quotes, famous quote, famous quotes, quote of the day, mentor me, mentor me quote, mentor me quotes, ken poirot, ken poirot quote, ken poirot quotes, viral marketing, quotes, photosYou can read the full text of that here on my blog: initial viral marketing blog post.

I will say the preliminary results are quite intriguing. I will remind you this is 100% FREE marketing. I am not using any paid advertisements on Facebook. I am strictly posting to my Mentor Me Book Facebook Page (which I have not been very active with, as you can see from my Facebook Page, until this viral marketing campaign recently).

All I am doing is posting the quote and photos I designed (using public domain photos from Wikipedia Commons so there is no copyright infringement issue) and posting these photos to my Mentor Me Facebook Page. (Two of the actual quotes and photos used to generate these results are posted here in this blog on the left hand side and above and below this text.)

mentor me, mentor me book, mentor me gate, mentor me ken poirot, ken poirot, success, success books, business, business books, self help, self help books, self improvement, self improvement books, book, ebook, kindle bookThen I am sharing these posts with groups I have joined on one of my Facebook profiles, in order to generate the activity/exposure.

There are three posts in particular that have generated quite a bit of interest and reach on Facebook (these two above and the photo of the little girl in my last blog.)

I have also posted the same quotes and photos on my Twitter and Pinterest accounts. I have also not been consistently active on Twitter or Pinterest in the past.

It is the Facebook viral marketing posts I am most interested in sharing here as Facebook provides data for their pages giving me concrete numbers I can provide/discuss.

Preliminary Data Suggests Viral Marketing with Quotes and Photos Works!

The results are a great deal more spectacular than I anticipated. I will say, it is way too early to truly call this “viral marketing” as it will take time to see if these quotes and photos are shared and distributed over and over again by people creating that true viral marketing affect.

Mentor Me, Mentor Me Book, Ken Poirot, Mentor Me Facebook Page, Facebook, Mentor Me Gate Facebook Page, Mentor Me Gate, Self Help Books, Self Help Book, Success Book, Success Books, Business Book, Business Books, Motivation, Motivation Books, Mentoring and Coaching Books, Mentoring and Coaching Book

What I will say is, my posts that are not quotes and photos have barely any reach (for example, I did post my last blog along with sharing this in Facebook Groups – the total reach was only 20).

In comparison, all three of the last photos and quotes I shared in Facebook Groups were anywhere from roughly 65+ times to 190+ times BETTER than that blog post! (I only shared four posts in Facebook Groups this last week – the other quotes and photos posts have not yet been shared or were just updates to my Album on Facebook.)

This is a HUGE difference! I can say with certainty I am onto something using quotes and photos to market my book versus blog posts or other types of posts I have used and/or shared in the past.

This seems to be a better way to go in order for the best opportunity to create a truly viral marketing campaign versus other campaigns I have created. You can see the results for yourself in the photos below.

Results:

Total Post Reach up over 7300% and Engagement up over 5500%!

That is astonishing results versus my past post reach and engagement figures (including my recent blog post which had almost no engagement and reach during my testing the last week)!

In any event, as I said earlier in this post, it is too early to call this truly “viral marketing” or to say my quote and photo posts have “gone viral.” What I can say is…these are fantastic preliminary results and orders of magnitude better than any of my previous posts.

This campaign has a lot more “viral marketing” potential than any I have used in the past and I believe many others will benefit and increase their current Facebook/Social Media marketing results by reading this blog post. :)

Mentor Me: GA=T+E—Viral Marketing Secret Formula (Quotes and Photos)

How Do You Create Viral Marketing? What is the Secret Formula?

It is every marketers dream to create content that “goes viral” and makes their marketing effort an “overnight success.” (In reality, I laugh at the term “overnight success” as I have only witnessed many years of planning and hard work culminate in an “overnight success” in the real world.)

viral marketing, quote, quotes, mentor me, mentor me book, mentor me quote, mentor me quotes, ken poirot, ken poirot quote, ken poirot quotes, famous quotes, quote of the dayViral marketing can catapult your product, service, name, or book to instant fame and public recognition. So yes, this is everyone’s dream, to “go viral,”  if you have something to market.

…but how is this achieved?

After all, if there was a specific formula to create viral marketing everyone would be doing it and no one piece of marketing or content would truly stand out as viral; all marketing content would be distributed evenly (with no stand out viral content). Right?

So there is no specific, “magic” formula for creating viral content, or step-by-step blueprint to create marketing that goes viral.

Having said that, I am setting out to create viral content for my book, Mentor Me: GA=T+E—A Formula to Fulfill Your Greatest Achievement.

You have a front row seat to see if I can create some truly viral marketing magic.

Succeed or failyou are a witness in my attempt to create viral marketing content for my book and you will have the 20/20 hindsight to see if it works.

Attempted Viral Marketing Content Creation Steps

The first step: know your audience. When I wrote Mentor Me: GA=T+E—A Formula to Fulfill Your Greatest Achievement, I set out to write a book in the self-help genre. In conducting research, I knew the audience for this genre is about 70% female, with an average age between 25 to 50.

quote, quotes, famous quote, famous quotes, quote of the day, mentor me, mentor me quote, mentor me quotes, ken poirot, ken poirot quote, ken poirot quotes, viral marketing, quotes, photosOnce you know your audience, you can think about what your audience wants.

So what do self-help readers want in a self-help book? Typically they are looking for inspiration, motivation, and some direction in life.

I had all these thoughts in mind when I wrote Mentor Me.

So the second step is marrying a marketing message to the wants and desires of my target audience.

What is marketing? What makes marketing appealing and magnetic

The third step is to tie steps one and two into a marketing package that is appealing and magnetic. I had some help with this.

I constantly search for my name and my book name on Google. I look at these search results as a report card for how I am doing with my marketing online.

I am constantly asking myself, “Am I creating an online presence? If someone is looking for information about me and my book online, what will they see? How will I be perceived by someone searching for me or my book? Is there enough information there to pique their interest or curiosity enough to want to read my book?”

During one of my Google searches, I stumbled upon a link with one of my quotes from Mentor Me. It was a quote I had published on Goodreads. I found the following quote on the internet: “The more I learn about myself, the more I understand you.”

So it seems this quote was appealing and magnetic to someone already, since they used it for their own marketing. (Therefore, they also thought this quote would be appealing and magnetic to someone elsetheir target audience.)

(See the screen shot from Nivonext’s website below.)

mentor me, mentor me quotes, mentor me quote, ken poirot, ken poirot quote, ken poirot quotes, quote, quotes, famous quotes, famous quote, viral, viral marketing

To my surprise, my quote from Mentor Me is the top line on their website. Interestingly, my quote is in English, but the rest of the web page is in Dutch. This quote is attributed to me and it is the headline for a Dutch company’s website.

Wow…free marketing! :)

Someone liked a quote from my book enough to use it to market their Dutch professional coaching company!

A Viral Marketing Idea is Born!

Hmmmm…so if a quote from my book is interesting enough to be used to market an overseas company, which does business in a different language…maybe I am onto something? :)

mentor me, mentor me quote, mentor me quotes, ken poirot, ken poirot quote, ken poirot quotes, viral, viral marketing, famous quotes, famous quoteAfter all, I often seen motivational or inspirational quotes posted on Facebook/all over the internet, shared, distributed, and go viral. So why not try to create some viral contentphotos and inspirational/motivational quotes from my book?

So that is what I set out to do. You, my reader, will have the benefit of seeing the date I wrote and posted this blog.

You will be able to see if I was able to accomplish what I set out to achieve. Namely, create viral marketing content for my book and my name using quotes/photos which can be shared/distributed, and eventually “go viral” on the internet.

After all, if my name and book quotes are spread all over the internet and become viralnatural human curiosity will take over. Numerous Google and internet searches for me and my book will result, leading to increased name recognition for me/my book (which all equals more future opportunities for me and greater book sales).

Let’s see what happens. You can look back at this blog and see if I successfully created viral marketing content.

If I am successful, then all you need to do is copy this viral marketing formula in order to create your own viral marketing content.

You can view all the quotes and photos I created on my Facebook page for my book, Mentor Me, here: Mentor Me Facebook Page. :) .
