hey, you're really great! and I'm going through some stuff that I don't know where it's going to lead me, so I wanted you to know how much you've made me laugh and just in general feel good and how rare and precious that has been to me. I'm glad you're you
You are precious and rare to me too.
Hello! I saw you in Santa Monica on Saturday! (I was the weird blue-haired girl who awkwardly stared at you outside of The Bungalow. You probably didn't notice, which is FINE.) I was too nervous to say anything in person but wanted to tell you I'm a huge f
I remember this. I decided not to go to Bungalow because there was a huge line in the middle of the day and I hate lines and also I hate Bungalow so that day I went somewhere else to read a book alone. If you see me around Santa Monica, you can say hi and I’ll say hi back.
Hi so I kinda forgot I was following you and well now I know I am but I watch cracked videos (and read articles) semi religiously, and as a person who also loves nerding out about things; good job!! I dunno I feel like a lot of the time people like me don'
Shoot me another message, I’ll see if we can move some stuff around to give you space to talk about the things you love. What are you passionate about? Let’s find you a platform to talk about it.
First, let me say, I love your work. Your book hit all the perfect notes of hilarity and history. (I'm sure more qualified people have told you this, I just wanted to share that as well.) I'm wondering, if someone wrote a pitch for an Agents of Cracked fil
Hey, you should be kinder to yourself. You don’t need to say things like “more qualified people” or anything. You’re representing yourself and your opinions, you’re the most qualified person in the world on that score.
As far as an Agents of Cracked film, buddy, there is NO WAY I am letting anyone other than me, Michael and Abe write that shit.
in one of the after hours episodes your character has something along the lines of a grand unifying theory of coen bros. movies that we never got to see... do you actually have an in-depth analysis of them, and can we hear it someday?
This is an inside joke for the writers of the show. We all love the Coen Brothers movies so fucking much, but we all also know that an episode exclusively about the Coens would be traffic death, so we’ll never actually do the episode (that, for the record, Michael Swaim could easily write). For seven years, we’ve been hinting at a unified Coen Brothers theory that we will never actually show.
Why does my 3 month old son love your voice so much? Every time I play a Cracked episode in which you speak, he gets super smiley and watches the video. Are you secretly a baby whisperer?
New babies don’t love a ton of sounds because they just spent several months getting used to the sounds they heard in the womb. Those noises are weird and unclear to our ears but it’s what the babies are used to so it is comforting to them (a lot of people will suggest going “WHOOSSSSHHHHHH” to a new baby because that’s kind of close to the sounds they hear in the womb). Anyway all this to say that my voice can easily be described as “Jarbled nonsense that is comforting to babies who don’t understand sound yet.”
you're just the best honestly. or doing a very good job at trying to be the best possible version of this daniel o'brien.
There’s another Daniel O’Brien who overcame adversity and went on to win gold medals in the Olympics. It has been a humbling challenge to know I will always be the second most impressive Daniel O’Brien, at best.
Hey :) I love your work. I am a teen who just watched IT (2017) and I made a post ranting about the movie and how they treat the character Beverly like crap. I was thinking that it's a topic that should be brought up but I have no way of doing that. I was
That’s definitely an idea worth digging into. I have a column coming out Thursday that briefly touches on two ideas I had about IT, but they weren’t about Bev, they were about [you’ll just have to read the column friend]. But that’s a cool idea and you should expand on it.
Hey! I just want you to know that I've been reading your columns and watching you on After Hours and OPCD for a while now, and I think you're a real genuine, sweet, upstanding guy, and sometimes I wish I was your friend. Anyway, have a wonderful day, and s
You ARE my friend, and YOU stay cool.

Here are someupcoming screenings of my feature film Mr. Roosevelt before it starts rolling out into theatres starting October 27th
I saw this movie by and starring my fearless friend Noel Wells (I’m sorry Noel I don’t know how to make the dots) in Austin and you should really check it out. When I sold my first book, Noel came to a party at my apartment and gave me flowers and some of those chocolate coins wrapped in gold foil (it was the first time I’d ever gotten flowers, and we used my old hookah base as a vase). I realize just this second that when I went to celebrate HER success and see the movie, I showed up sweaty and kind of late and with a beer in my pocket. I also through a series of pure shenanigans accidentally sat with the beautiful cast and crew of the film during the screening (one thousand percent I took the seat of someone else who was probably very pissed indeed).
Noel inspires me all the time. I can’t wait until she’s running her own empire. Please go see her movie.
