The Immortal Sorrows on Facebook
Since the debut of Wings of Darkness, Book 1 of The Immortal Sorrows Series, I’ve had people asking about the characters, where the series is going, etc. I’m continually amazed at the insights people have to this series, and enjoy talking about it with them. To honor that, and because I love picking the brains of my readers (bwahaha!), I created a Facebook page under the title “The Immortal Sorrows series.” Everyone is welcome. It’s going to be a fun place to discuss everything about the book, your favorite characters, and make guesses as to where things are going. Be aware, however, that spoilers may lurk around every corner, so if you haven’t read book 1, go pick it up from Amazon and don’t forget to drop me an honest review. Upcoming Charity Challenge!
I spend a lot of my free time doing volunteer work for my local Humane Society. The money I help raise by doing raffles and bake sales at my day job goes to help fund their spay/neuter fund. It’s a great program, and I’m really proud to be a part of it. Lately, however, I’ve neglected my charity of choice. I pushed extra hard to prepare “Wings of Darkness” for its April 24 launch and some things fell to the wayside. Things like sleep, a clean house, my charity work, etc. You get the idea. Anyway, to make up for it, I plan to offer 100% of the royalties from the sale of my book to them through the entire month of June. And I encourage anyone reading this to do something similar. It doesn’t matter what your job is, or what your charity is. For the month of June, find a charity you’re passionate about and get involved. Throw a bake sale. Donate some time or money. Hand out flyers. Post adoption sheets where you work for your local animal shelter. So this is my Charity Challenge. It kicks off June 1 and ends July 1. Check back in and tell me how it went for you. I’d love to hear all about it.
