I am excited today to release a music video with the title track to my book 'Somebody's Daughter'
I started writing poems when I was four years old ,then short stories and then to songwriting before I wrote my first memoir. I love the art of songwriting and was so thrilled to get back to it to help tell the story in a different way.

Somebody's Daughter
I am very relieved that after a long time of writing, my book has finally been published. Writing a memoir is not easy. Protecting people close to you by trying to be as honest as possible is challenging. How can you write a memoir without being totally honest? I asked myself many questions along the way . Why I was doing this and what did I really need to say and what could be left out. I did change timelines and names to protect people and revealed as much as I felt necessary for the reader to understand what it feels like to be adopted and the lifelong impact.
I know what has helped me in my life is hearing honesty about a persons struggle so my wish is that this book will help others.
it is an updated version if you like of 'Mother Me' it was written years after with more clarity and insight. A lot changed between in those years. A divorce and finding my birthfather.
