On Through the Never Publication Day

At long last, ON THROUGH THE NEVER is here, and I have a finished series! If you would like to purchase a copy, click here to find online links (and know that you would have my eternal gratitude!). I have to admit, this was a tough book to write. I'd heard from many different authors that second books are not easy to get through, and for me this was very true. But I made it, and I'm proud of OTtN. Hopefully you will love it as much as I do. Many thanks to my wonderful editor, Rachel Stark, who pushed me to make the book even better. And thank you to my awesome agent, Suzie Townsend, for taking a chance on me as a client and making my dreams come true. Two More Weeks!

Well, technically, we're at a little less than two weeks until ON THROUGH THE NEVER is published. Thirteen days exactly and I'm both excited and nervous. I sincerely hope you enjoy the book. While THE EDGE OF FOREVER resolved the mystery related to the main plot, there were still some unanswered questions. I'm happy to say that ON THROUGH THE NEVER answers them.

Now for another fantastic giveaway! My publisher, Sky Pony Press, is graciously giving away 10 finished copies of ON THROUGH THE NEVER at Goodreads. The giveaway ends July 4, so please enter if you'd like a chance to win a copy.

2. The Fantastic Flying Book Club is hosting the blog tour for ON THROUGH THE NEVER. Don't forget to sign up if you'd like to participate. Both books will be available to review if you haven't read the first one in the series.

3. I'm giving away a stack of ARCs on Twitter. Titles include EXO, SONG OF THE CURRENT, BLOOD ROSE REBELLION, and NOW I RISE. Giveaway ends June 8.

A Few More Updates

So. We're almost one month away from ON THROUGH THE NEVER'S release! As promised, here are some updates related to the blog tour and giveaways going on now.

1. Book bloggers can sign up for the blog tour at the The Fantastic Flying Book Club web site. The tour will run from June 21 - June 27. THE EDGE OF FOREVER, the first book in the series, will also be available for anyone who would like to participate but hasn't read it.


2. Sky Pony Press is having a giveaway of THE EDGE OF FOREVER at Goodreads. Ten copies are up for grabs to anyone in the US. Giveaway ends on May 25 so hurry and enter if you'd like a chance to win a copy. 
3. My wonderful and talented critique partner, Christina, is having a fantastic giveaway in honor of ON THROUGH THE NEVER'S release. She's offering a copy of THE EDGE OF FOREVER, a copy of ON THROUGH THE NEVER, and character scented handmade soaps and bath bombs for Alora and Bridger. Updates

Hi everybody! It's been several years since I've blogged, so I'm a little rusty at this. I more than likely won't stick to a regular schedule, however I will post updates relating to writing: book release information, contests and giveaways, interviews, or events I'll be attending. As for what's been going on with me, I attended the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) Conference in November of last year, and then I attended the ALA Midwinter in January of this year. They were my first two major signings and even though I was extremely nervous, I had a fantastic time. It was especially gratifying to meet so many enthusiastic teachers and librarians, and I was also happy to meet some wonderful members of the Sky Pony Press team.







I also want to mention that I've finished ON THROUGH THE NEVER. It's currently being prepared for publication on June 27 (final copy edits, then it will be printed and shipped to the warehouse). I'm excited and a bit nervous about it to be going out into the world. If you decide to read it, I really hope you enjoy it.
