New Book Cover!

After a lot of helpful feedback I decided to change the book cover to something a little less abstract and more telling of the story. I loved the old one, but I love this one too! Let me know what you think :)

Happy Friday! Another excerpt from Hope for Garbage:
Happy Friday! Another excerpt from Hope for Garbage:
This lady was high class all the way. Everything about her was polished. Her blond hair was pulled back tightly from her well made-up face. Her bright red lipstick matched her bright red nails. The rock on her wedding ring was so big, it looked like her boney finger would snap under the weight of it.
"So how do you like Westwood Trevor?" she asked quietly.
How did she think he liked Westwood? It was a shithole compared to Harbor Village. "How do I like it? Hmm...I guess it's okay Mrs. Stewart."
She was looking him over, "Please, just call me Evelyn."

Excerpt #2 - Hope for Garbage
Another excerpt :)
Trevor was amazed again. The stone terrace was enormous, jutting out to the edge of the lake. Wrapped around the banister were thousands of tiny twinkle lights, creating a glowing boundary between them and the endless water. To the west, the setting sun had turned the sky into wild shades of pink and orange. To the east, the Cleveland skyline sparkled far off in the distance. Trevor could never imagine being able to come out here every night and enjoy this view. This truly was a different world.

Excerpt - Hope for Garbage
I thought it might be fun to blog some excerpts from my new novel Hope for Garbage...
As soon as Trevor stepped foot into his uncle's house, he was lectured on the world according to Gary. A kid like Trevor was only going to get ahead in this world by screwing people over- simple as that. "Honesty won't get you anywhere kid. Being nice won't either. I mean you're always nice to a customers face, but you're not nice to their wallet. You understand?"
Trevor just nodded his head and thought, how can I be related to this idiot?
