I've been listening to the The Nightingale for the last couple of weeks on Audible and I was thinking how unbelievable it was that such atrocities took place 70 years ago in a city as beautiful as Paris. (I was lucky enough to visit there once in college.)

Then, Friday night, as I was listening to the last chapter, I saw the breaking news on CNN and felt my stomach drop.

My thoughts are with all of those in Paris affected by this horrific tragedy.
