Deficiencies: Three things you don't want to be lacking

Where do you want to be?EmotionallyPhysicallyHealth-wiseSpirituallyWho do you want to be with?Your SaviorYour SoulmateYour ProgenyThese questions are much more productive in my opinion than just, "What do I need to get done?" Nutritional Deficiency In her article, " Seven Surprising Symptoms of Iron Deficiency ," Debbie Hanyon (Registered Dietician) sheds light on the various aspects of anemia, focusing particularly on iron deficiency anemia, the most common type. She emphasizes the importance of accurate diagnosis through blood tests, cautioning against self-treatment with iron supplements without addressing the root cause.
Highlighting the critical role of red blood cells in carrying oxygen for energy, the article explores seven unexpected symptoms of iron deficiency, including unusual cravings, chest pain, cold extremities, tongue inflammation, poor appetite, headaches, dizziness, and brittle nails.
Debbie underscores the prevalence of iron deficiency in specific groups like young children, pregnant or breastfeeding women, and individuals on multiple medications. The article concludes by emphasizing the severe implications of iron deficiency anemia, such as illness, fatigue, delayed growth, and potential permanent mental issues, advocating for regular blood checks to ensure overall health. Unveiling Mysteries

There are a few reasons:Inspiration from God (Yay!)Friends who stretch me (again, Yay!)A steroid shot from the rheumatologist (the children said I've been on overdrive)
Well, I seem to be coming down from the boost, so I'm assuming that means I'll be slowing down again. After a trip to the chiropractor next week and some last minute shopping, I'm planning to spend a lot of time resting and waiting for a call from our second daughter announcing the imminent arrival of her second child which is due sometime in January. (Super Yay!!)Digging into ScriptureA lot of what I've been working on lately has included a ton of deep diving into scripture and history. I can't begin to tell you how happy that makes me. It's also exhausting! There are so many questions. Truly, the more I learn, the less I realize that I really know! It's been great though. If you've missed it, I'll share a few of the videos below:Biblical Homestead Community and TraditionsHave you heard? All four editions of the Prairie Dust Trail magazine are in book form now. It is free on Kindle Unlimited , but it is also available in paperback . I'm so excited to be able to offer it in several different ways like this. Hopefully this makes it attainable for everyone to read or gift.
I've been so blessed during the publishing of this magazine. We've had so many talented and inspired contributors.
I'm really looking forward to some of the improvements we have planned this year too. There will be a few things for the children as well as the variety of wonderful content.

Fall Feast of the Lord: Trumpets, Atonement & Tabernacles

I also look forward each year to celebrating the Feasts of the Lord. These feasts are memorials and prophetic foreshadowings of things to come.

The Fall of the Roman Empire Today, Democracy always leads to tyranny

But there is a God in heaven that reveals secrets and makes known to the king Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the latter days. Thy dream, and the visions of thy head upon thy bed, are these... Thou, O king, saw, and behold a great image. This great image, whose brightness was excellent, stood before thee; and the form thereof was terrible. This image's head was of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass, His legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay. Thou saw till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and broke them to pieces. Daniel 2There's been a lot of talk online lately about the Roman Empire. It's been a "Trending Topic." Women have been asking their husbands (or significant men in their lives) how often they think about the Roman Empire and they've been super surprised at how many say they think about it a lot.
I don't think this is an accident or coincidence. I think what we've been going through the past several years is a mirror of what happened when Rome fell.
Let's discuss it! Let me know what your thoughts are on the subject too!

It's Fall Ya'all!

In the process of the changing of the seasons, I'm ready for autumn smells as well. Unfortunately, my favorite spice company doesn't have Pumpkin Pie spice. So I'm going to have to make my own this year.
I'll also be making more "Thieves Oil". I've been making my own Autumn Immune Boosting oil for several years now.
I thought I'd share some recipes and gift ideas with you as I'm preparing to enjoy these lovely scents.Autumn Immune Boosting Essential OilYoung Living Thieves Oil contains clove, lemon, cinnamon bark, eucalyptus and rosemary oils, in addition to the carrier oil they are mixed in. Because we use so much for our family, I've been making my own for a long time. The quality may not be as good, but for the price, I'm happy with the results we've had.
Here are what I generally use:16 oz Sweet Almond Oil2 oz Clove oil4 oz Lemon oil or Grapefruit oil4 oz Eucalyptus oil2 oz Rosemary oiland several cinnamon sticks
You can substitute if needed. I have one friend who is allergic to eucalyptus, so I would suggest she try cedarwood, juniper, spruce or cypress instead. I would be careful adding very many different oils because the constituents in each oil can be complementary, or not... Do your research if you plan to experiment much. I recommend the Reference Guide For Essential Oils Handbook.
I mix all this up in a large jar and let it set in a dark place (or in a paper bag) for a few weeks, swishing the mixture around once or twice a day so they really get blended well and the cinnamon sticks have time to defuse their scent into it. In my opinion, it's the cinnamon that gives the lovely holiday smell.
Our family and I put this on our feet before we leave the house and I always get questions or complements on the scent.
Make sure to label your concoction! Once it's set for the two weeks or so, I give it one last good shake or stir (with a wooden spoon) and pour it off into those saved amber bottles I have stashed. Sunlight breaks down the properties of the essential oils, so make sure you keep them in the dark or in a dark colored bottle.
Homemade Pumpkin Pie SpiceHerbs and spices needed:2/3 cup ground Ginger1/2 cup ground Allspice1 cup ground Cinnamon1/2 cup ground Cloves2/3 cup Nutmeg, ground
You could blend these up by hand or in a blender. Then put them in those glass spice bottles you worked so hard to scrub the labels off of and have been saving. (No? Is that just me?) Or you could put them in cute little 1/2 pint canning jars too... Make sure to label them.
We all have a few Pumpkin Spice loving friends who would be thrilled with this. Maybe even mixed with some homemade hot cocoa or tea leaves for gifting...Creamed HoneyHeating up honey has some issues. According to Sleeping Bear Farms, "Heating up raw honey will change the makeup of the honey, and potentially weaken or destroy enzymes, vitamins, minerals..."
Honey does have a tendency to crystalize and harden though. There are a few ways to take care of that. One is to set the jar in a pan of hot water. I like to have cloth on the bottom of the pan so the jar isn't directly on the heated metal. You could pour boiling water into a big pitcher or bowl and set the jar in as well.
But then I saw this idea and, voil'a!
Ingredients:Crystalized honeyLiquid honeyMix the two together in a stand mixer for about 20 minutes and put into smaller pretty jars for use or gift-giving. [image error]

Parasite Invasion and Demonic Attack, cleanse with caution!

She offers truth in an authentic attempt to practice what she preaches, which is all about detox and parasite cleansing. Tanya sees the body as a compost pile, in order to grow health, we need good soil.
“When we remove from the body what the Lord did not create and replenish what is missing, the body will restore. That is the foundational health approach. That my friend is possibly why what you’re currently doing is not working. Are you sewing seeds of health in bad ground?” ~ Tanya Candee

“When the unclean spirit has gone out of a person, it passes through waterless places seeking rest, but finds none. Then it says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ And when it comes, it finds the house empty, swept, and put in order. Then it goes and brings with it seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they enter and dwell there, and the last state of that person is worse than the first. So also will it be with this evil generation.” Matthew 12:43-45[image error]

Gideon's Fleece: Challenging our Understanding and Exploring Possibilities

Then Gideon said to God, “If you will save Israel by my hand, as you have said, behold, I am laying a fleece of wool on the threshing floor. If there is dew on the fleece alone, and it is dry on all the ground, then I shall know that you will save Israel by my hand, as you have said.” And it was so. When he rose early next morning and squeezed the fleece, he wrung enough dew from the fleece to fill a bowl with water. Then Gideon said to God, “Let not your anger burn against me; let me speak just once more. Please let me test just once more with the fleece. Please let it be dry on the fleece only, and on all the ground let there be dew.” And God did so that night; and it was dry on the fleece only, and on all the ground there was dew. Judges 6:36-40Things are seldom black and white with God. He can't fit in a box. When He speaks to us, there is often more than one way to interpret and follow the direction and guidance He gives us. Testing our interpretation or understanding of the Holy Spirit's leading is appropriate, to a point. We need to be careful we aren't offering the Lord an ultimatum though... [image error]

Promises in the Bible: Relationship in Context to the Whole Scripture vs. Holding God to His Word

"Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6This verse is only one example of how people can end up disappointed. We often don't want to look at the different variables and conditions surrounding promises like this.
We can't just pluck a promise out of the Bible and expect God to follow through no matter what we do.
Our Creator is a Lord of covenants. Like a wedding covenant, these are never a one-way deal. They are a partnership that relies on a continually growing, two-way relationship.I know I have definitely been guilty of trying to hold my Savior to a promise that I wasn't understanding all of the "fine print" on. It's not that HE doesn't want to spoil us in every possible way, but because of free will, He is also held to a standard and consequences. Personally, I can't wait to get to Heaven and get past this fleshly side of myself. What about you? [image error]

Technosickness and the Renewing of Your Mind and Body

This is a question I do get asked. And the short answer is, yes! But the long answer is, to an extent. There are so many factors to figure in...
But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:31The more I learn about frequency research, the more I realize information is being directed around it. Good research is being suppressed. Behind every new FDA approval or USDA regulation is a money trail leading to someone's profit. It's unfortunate that is the day we are living in.
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Romans 12:2References:Debbie Hanyon, RDNNeuroplasticity : What It Is & How to Harness Its Power for Your Benefit by Dr. Caroline LeafRosenau & Rife #Frequency research at Archive.org
This conversation can go so many places and there is so much to learn, I'm sure I'll be touching on it again. Do you have any ideas based on questions or concerns you have?

DIY Hebrew Calendar, Begining to understand the "times and seasons"

The Biblical calendar can be confusing. Hopefully, this will help. In this video, I'm explaining how the years and months work according to the Bible.
And there was evening and there was morning, the third day. And God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night. And let them be for signs and for seasons, and for days and years, and let them be lights in the expanse of the heavens to give light upon the earth.” And it was so. Genesis 1:13-15I definitely encourage you to study this out for yourself as you begin watching the sky and paying closer attention to the seasons. To access the printables, along with more information on Tin Hat Topics, Prepping & Pioneer Living, check out our Patreon membership.Let me know if this has been helpful to you and what questions you have.
