Merkiaari Wars: Your planet and ship name suggestions
I’ve been thinking… Yes I do know how dangerous that can be you mickey takers. So thinking. Would you like to make suggestions (clean ones!) for names of ships and maybe locations in the Merki-verse?
It might be fun for readers to catch sight of a planet or navy cruiser that they thought up the name for. Maybe a future book will have your ship heroically save the day, or be renowned for its doomed to fail battle against impossible odds. What do you think?
Like and comment this post if its something you think you’d like to contribute to. Put your proposed ship and/or planet name in the comment and maybe a sentence or two why you chose it. Make sure suggestions are in keeping with the series… by that I mean they should fit in with the known worlds and names already in use in the books. And keep it clean! This series is read by all ages don’t forget, as is this page.
Most ships in the books are military, but not all! So if you have a good merchant ship name, or class of ship, or even something I haven’t thought of… oops, I just did! Stations! You can propose a name for them. This is for fun and I don’t promise here to use them obviously. I’m putting this post on the Facebook Fan Page too.

Operation Breakout Released
Operation Breakout: Merkiaari Wars 4
The paperback of Operation Breakout is out now! Finally, I can breathe a sigh of relief that I didn’t lose the plot entirely and destroy the 2013 publishing schedule entirely. Three months late is better than four, because honestly, everyone looks at the year not the month a book comes out. I HAD to get it out before Christmas, and thankfully succeeded.
What of the digital version I hear you cry? Well, there are two pre-orders up. One at Google and one at Kobo. The other stores are a bit behind because I guess they have a Christmas rush. Kindle, Nook, and Apple are coming hopefully within this week. I have no control over that and will update links as they appear.
I want to thank you all for your continued support. I’ve had a ton of email talking enthusiastically about Gina, Shima, Kate and the other vipers. Ideas and questions have been flying thick and fast. You all try to get stuff out of me LOL. I’m not going to give you future events, but don’t stop asking. I love hearing your enthusiasm for the series.
So what’s next? Well, I AM working upon Incursion: Merkiaari Wars 5 but at the same time I am finishing up Chosen: Rune Gate 2. When I say finishing up, I don’t mean editing unfortunately. I mean writing the final third of the book. I have about five chapters to do and they’re coming slowly because my head is still in the Merki-verse. I’ll get there. Other things like Shifter Legacies and Devan Chronicles all have books in the wings, but Chosen first and then we’ll see. Fan expectations and needs DO play a big part in the publishing schedule because without your good will I couldn’t afford to live and would have to get a “real” job instead LOL.
Thanks for sticking with me, guys.
Mark
