After Kindle Unlimited & Follow-Up

After a lot of thought, I made the decision to remove all my titles from the Kindle Select program. Books in Kindle Select are automatically enrolled in the Kindle Unlimited program. Kindle Unlimited is kind of like a Netflix for books. Readers pay around $10 per month and can read as many books as they want without paying an extra charge, as long as those books are also enrolled in the program. Kindle Unlimited was great for independent authors in the beginning. Now? Not so much. I won't reh...

#LoveWins, Amazon's New Policy, Update & Independence Day

My apologies in advance for the length of this post. I go weeks without posting and when I do, I tend to ramble a bit. Also, my apologies to Optimist for the lack of eye candy. :)
Love Wins & Other -

Unless you live on another planet, you're aware that same-sex marriage is now legal everywhere in the United States. There was a huge celebration all over the place when the ruling came down. Unfortunately, there was also a lot of gay bashing all over the place. I watched people who I have know...

Willy Sequel Update, This & That, and More (NSFW) Eye Candy

Note that a majority of my posts (including this one) would not be considered safe for work. I found these images on Pinterest. You can check out my page by clicking the button on the right. The boards are pretty self-explanatory. I often add photos and GIFs for my enjoyment. If you have a problem with nudity (of either sex), my blog posts probably aren't for you.

With that being said -

An actual Facebook message sent to my friend slash editor not long ago -

Randy roared and had to be held back...

Done, Almost Done, Upcoming

Character InspirationI can't recall the last time in my life where I've written as much as I have over the past few weeks. Believe me, that's a good thing. I had gotten a bit burnt out after the release of Saving Travis back in February so I'm thrilled that burn-out is behind me. To the folks who asked about Finding Alex (the final story in the Taking Lance series), it has been put on hold for a bit. I've written around 20,000 words of it so far, but it still has...

Latest Release, Updates, & Eye Candy

My apologies if the font color of this post is weird. Blogger is acting a bit crazy as I type this, so I'm unsure how it will come up in the actual emails to my followers.
Recently I was asked how I got into writing LGBT books. With it being my genre of choice to write in, it was a fair question. I write it because it's what I mostly read. At last count I've read hundreds of LGBT related books - shorts and novels - and I don't see me stopping anytime soon. My reading in the genre opened...

Talladega and Mean Girls

Last week was kind of a whirlwind for me. I was out of state for 3 days and then came home to rush through getting ready to leave the next day for Talladega, Alabama. I live in the South and have done the Talladega (NASCAR) thing a few times before so I was looking forward to this trip (and the race on Sunday). It's seriously 4 days of one big party. It was a blast.

That's not what this post is about.

On the Saturday night before the big race there's always a concert at the speedway. An a...

News, New Release, Updates & Celebrating One Year of Publishing

Has it really been over a month since I updated? Where has all the time gone? Seriously. In my defense, I've been very busy, both with writing stuff and the real world. But a month? Wow.

New Release -

The Guy in the Coffee Shop was published March 2nd. It's a quickie gay short. I hope you'll check it out. I had a blast writing it and the response has been quite positive so far.

Blurb -

Working behind the counter of a specialty coffee shop, Tristan fantasizes about a businessman who rus...

My Thoughts on Blogger's New Policy

I actually have some updates and upcoming news that I'm excited to share, but this post is about something that has seriously angered me recently. The other stuff (upcoming new releases, something exciting I've been asked to be part of, among other things) will be put on a separate post, hopefully within the next few days.

Most of you are aware that Google is on the verge of yet another censorship sweep with Blogger accounts. In my real world, I went through this a year or so ago and was force...

Saving Travis: Blurb, Cover, Release Date

I'm thrilled to finally announce the release date of my newest book, Saving Travis. Check out that cover! Isn't it amazing? My thanks to Designs by Dale for somehow taking what was in my head and turning it into exactly what I was looking for. I totally had a squee moment when it was sent to me via email a few days ago. The publication date of Saving Travis (if all goes as planned) will be February 9th. My late sister would've turned 50 on that day. She was a huge adv...

Updates, Pinterest, This and That

I've sat down to write a blog post several times over the past few weeks, but I haven't really had much to say so I didn't. On the writing front, Saving Travis is about done. Pretty much all I have to do now is get the cover, check for typos again and format for it to be published on Amazon. I'll update when all that is done. I should be posting a cover in the next few days, and hopefully I can get the actual story published by the end of next week. That's the plan anyway.

I'm still...
