The CONTINUUM Audiobook Is Now Available
I'm excited to announce that the CONTINUUM audiobook is now available on Audible, Amazon and Apple.
Welcome back Alex, Caleb, Miriam, Eren and all your old friends - as well as Nika, Dashiel, Perrin, Adlai and all your new friends - in an epic adventure that will change everything we thought we knew about Amaranthe. Not sure how Aurora Rhapsody, Asterion Noir and Continuum fit together? Peruse The Universe of Amaranthe Awaits.
New to audiobooks? You can find all the Aurora Rhapsody and Asterion Noir novels in audiobook format on Amazon, Audible and Apple Books, and feel free to contact me at gs@gsjennsen.com if you have any questions.
Wherever you are, stay safe and well!

Humanity has seized its destiny among the stars. But space remains vast and untamed, and nothing has prepared us to face the dangers rising from the deep shadows of the void.
Fourteen years after The Displacement flung humanity into a universe teeming with alien life, a tenuous alliance has taken root among humans, Anadens, and numerous other species. The wounds of war and revolution have begun to heal, peace and prosperity are within reach, and the architects of The Displacement, Alex Solovy and Caleb Marano, are enjoying an idyllic existence on the living planet of Akeso.
But growing troubles fester beneath the surface of this alliance. An upstart species offers allegiance with one hand but readies weapons of mass destruction with the other, while the Anadens, leaderless and adrift for years, increasingly refuse to play by humanity’s rules.
As tensions simmer, Nika Kirumase, leader of the Asterions—a splinter group of former Anadens thought aeons dead—arrives bearing a warning of a terrifying enemy advancing across the void. Known as the Rasu, the powerful race of shapeshifting metal has already killed tens of thousands of Asterions in its quest to control all of known space.
Nika’s people have struck a blow against the Rasu, and now they race against time to prepare for the coming reprisal. An alliance with humanity stands to give them a fighting chance against their enemy. But for humanity, such an alliance may cost them everything, pushing the fragile peace they fought so hard to achieve to the breaking point and beyond.
*
In Amaranthe, where exotic alien life, AIs, wormholes, indestructible starships and the promise of immortality rule the day, no feat seems out of reach for humanity. But when the worlds of Aurora Rhapsody and Asterion Noir collide and the Rasu horde descends upon them both, more will be asked of heroes past and future. More will be given and more taken, and when the dust settles the very fabric of Amaranthe will be changed forever.

Announcing the Amaranthe Wiki - and 9 Days Until CONTINUUM Arrives
A long-and-often-requested feature is finally here: a comprehensive Wiki for the universe of Amaranthe. Peruse it at your leisure at GSJ.SPACE/WIKI. Every character, every planet and space station, every species. Probably not quite every piece of technology just yet, which is why I’m enlisting your help in making the Amaranthe Wiki complete. Have suggestions, corrections or ideas for new content? Email me at gs@gsjennsen.com or fill out this comment form. And if you’re interested in contributing more than the odd suggestion, email me, and I’ll get you added as an editor.

As a general rule, entry details are presented from the perspective of “as Starshine begins,” so newcomers can use the Wiki as a resource without worrying about spoilers. Where major spoilers are included, they’re clearly marked. That being said, the characters and locations from every book up to Continuum are included (it will be updated to reflect Continuum once the book is released).
I hope you enjoy this new resource, and I look forward to hearing your feedback.
Only 9 days remain until CONTINUUM arrives! Have you pre-ordered it yet? The price will increase to $4.99 after release, so grab it today and have it waiting for you on your ereader when you wake up January 8th: gsj.space/continuum.

Continuum Cover Reveal + Release Date
You’ve waited long enough to see Alex and Caleb again, haven’t you? The worlds of Aurora Rhapsody and Asterion Noir will collide in CONTINUUM (Riven Worlds Book One) on JANUARY 8, 2020.

Because CONTINUUM will be here before you know it, here’s a spoiler for those of you who haven’t read the Asterion Noir trilogy: the Asterions are returning to the Anaden Empire in Continuum, and this Collection holds the key as to why. You don’t want to miss it.
Already caught up on the Asterion Noir trilogy? I would greatly appreciate it if you would leave a quick review on the retailer where you purchased it. Reviews do so much to help my books reach new readers, and I’m so grateful to each of you who take the time to leave them.

Asterion Noir - Now Available on Apple Books
Apple and I have had a difficult couple of months, and I feel fairly confident in saying that “it’s not me, it’s them” applies here. First, they published the The Stars Like Gods audiobook without an ‘author’ field. It’s still not showing up on my Apple author page, but you can get the audiobook here.
Then, Apple took eleven days to publish ASTERION NOIR: THE COMPLETE COLLECTION. I’ll spare you the sordid details, because now it’s available! And since Apple readers missed out on the initial release discount, the Collection will be priced at $0.99 on Apple Books for the next two days - until October 3rd.

I apologize for the delay, and know that Apple and I will be having some conversations between now and Continuum’s release to hopefully ensure this doesn’t happen again.

ASTERION NOIR: THE COMPLETE COLLECTION Is Now Available
ASTERION NOIR: THE COMPLETE COLLECTION is now available on all major online retailers at a special release price of $0.99 for 2 days only. The Collection bundles together the three novels in the Asterion Noir trilogy (Exin Ex Machina, Of A Darker Void, The Stars Like Gods) in one ebook with a stunning new cover.

(Note: The Collection will be available at Apple Books soon! Find it here .)
REVIEWS! If you've posted reviews for any of Exin Ex Machina, Of A Darker Void or The Stars Like Gods, please consider copying them over to Asterion Noir. If you’ve read the books but haven't posted a review, well, now's an excellent time to share your thoughts on the trilogy in one place! It's going to take a while for new readers to get through the whole trilogy, so a couple of early reviews will help a great deal in increasing visibility for Asterion Noir. You can review it on Goodreads, too! If you need help locating your already-posted reviews, just email me at gs@gsjennsen.com. You have my thanks.

Anxious for CONTINUUM: Riven Worlds Book One? The first draft is complete (I posted about it on Facebook and Instagram) and I’m deep into the weeds of editing. There’s so much I can’t wait to share with you all, but instead I’ll finish the book and let it do the sharing ;). If you’re curious about Continuum, see the blog post: “The Universe of Amaranthe Awaits” (includes spoilers for Requiem (Aurora Resonant Book Three) and Asterion Noir!).

The Good, the Bad, the Ugly--and the New Shiny!
Social media. Is it bringing the world together, or tearing us apart? I can’t say, and this post definitely isn’t about trying to figure out the answer; you can decide for yourselves.
The reasons why some of you may be considering leaving Facebook or Twitter (or have already done so) would take the rest of this post to list, so I’ll spare you. Google+ is dead come the end of April. Tumblr is in the middle of a cringe-worthy identity crisis that may well kill it. Instagram was comparatively unscathed by 2018, but it’s always one bad redesign away from disaster.
The point is, social media platforms come and go (raise your hand if you had a MySpace page). They change their design and their rules and inevitably rise and fall. As omnipresent as Facebook feels today, it’s transient like all the rest.
So, what to do? I plan to continue being present and active on the most popular sites of the day, whatever those are, so don’t worry - I’m not going anywhere. But if you are, it shouldn’t mean we have to stop sharing our enthusiasm about space and tech and sci-fi with each other. This is why I’m creating a place where I will always be sharing my enthusiasm about those topics - a place I will always control, and where you are always welcome.
I give you SUPERMASSIVE BLACK HOLES: Breaking News & Random Musings On Space, Technology, Sci-Fi & The View From A Writer’s Window. At SMBH, I’ll be cross-posting all my Facebook posts, as well as notable posts of mine from Twitter, Instagram and other platforms. At SMBH, you can not just comment but join and follow the conversation, without worrying about Mark Zuckerberg mining your data for an army of ad bots or Twitter shadow-banning you. It’ll be fun!
If you’re an RSS feed person, you can add the blog to your reader of choice: https://www.gsjennsen.com/supermassive-black-holes?format=rss. If you’re an email person, subscribe to the blog here. Note: this is completely separate from my primary author newsletter, as I don’t want to be spamming people who only want to hear about book news. So subscribe to SMBH if you want to get email digests of new posts 2-3 times a week, and never miss a conversation.
