Losing and Gaining Ground: Time
It saddens us, shocks us, and surprises us whenprominentfaith leaders fail morally. We tend to forget that these men and women are people just like you and I. The temptations that assail these leaders are no different than those that beset each of us. Perhaps the greatest scandal is that for every public faith leader “exposed” for his or her sin in the media, there are hundreds or thousands of other faith leaders who are losing ground in the same area(s).
