Hey everyone! I shared a poem from I Hope My Voice Doesn't Skip in the latest issue of Double the Books! It is called TOLD MYSELF and I've only read it at one reading so far. Would love to hear your thoughts??

It actually almost didn't make it into the book! I had been working on this one piece for maybe THREE MONTHS and my deadline for my manuscript passed. Luckily, when I finished it, I was able to sneak it into the book!

With less than two weeks before the release of I Hope My Voice Doesn't Skip, La-based band Highland Kites and I are excited to reveal the official lyric video for "Between the Notes."
