#SnippetSunday Excerpt from Marked, Valeterra Series Book 1 – Coming Soon
Hello, everyone. I hope those in the path of all the storms that hit last week are all right. We lost some large limbs, but nothing more. My neighbors had a bit of damage, though. One of their smaller trees fell on their garage. We got lucky. I know a lot of other people and towns did not. Anyway, on to what you’ve come here for. Today, I’m picking up from where I left off last week with Marked, book one of my Valeterra series. This novella is a paranormal romance set in a parallel universe. It is currently in editing, but I do have a tentative synopsis and a cover, both of which you’ll find after the snippet. The following is from Jackson’s point of view. Stephanie has asked how it wants to proceed with their plan to bring human women to Valeterra.---“You have about twenty files there, right? Take them to the volunteers. See if any of the alphas react to those women in a way that suggests the woman might be their mate. If so, send someone to make contact with the possible mate.”“I’m on it,” Stephanie said, turning to leave.She nearly made it to the door before my wolf ordered me to stop her.“Wait.” I all but snarled the words as I pushed myself out of my chair.
