Hello, everyone. I hope you had a great week. I’m sorry I haven’t been around these last few weeks. We’ve been doing a good bit of spring cleaning around the house, and I’ve been getting Marked ready to go on sale.Today, I’m sharing from Marked, book one of my Valeterra series. This novella is a paranormal romance set in a parallel universe and is set to go on sale Saturday, June 17th 2017.I’m picking up from where I left off a few weeks ago. This is still from Valerie’s point of view, and shows Stephanie meeting her for the first time. I technically went over the sentence count, but so many of the sentences are one-word sentences that I didn’t think you guys would mind. ---“Who’s that?” my sister asked, joining me to help ensure everything was ready for when she opened.“I have no idea, but she says she needs to talk to me in private.”“About?”“No clue.”“You want me to stay with you?”“Nah. I can take her if she tries to harm me in any way. Look at her. I can sit on her until the police come if she acts up.” I was straight up boasting with that statement, and my sister knew it.
