WINTERTIDE OMEGA now available

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
WINTERTIDE OMEGA, my new novel of cosmic frozen terror, is now available in both print and kindle formats.

Wintertide Omega

Brothers Michael and Parker Harriston receive word that their estranged Grandfather has gone missing in the northern Ontario wild. To find him, they must brave the ferocity of a Canadian winter and travel to a place they hoped never to return.

Cut off from the outside world, the brothers encounter strange behaviors that have possessed the local wildlife. Rogue wolves stalk them through the snow-covered forest. Weird lights plague the surrounding frozen lakes. But there is something far worse that lies in wait for them in the cold dark.

Soon hunted by an otherworldly force, Michael and Parker must reconcile their tragic past if they are to survive the truth, and themselves.

Based on my short story and screenplay, “Psychros”, “Wintertide Omega” is my love-letter to frozen nightmares. Fans of “The Thing” will rejoice. Any readers interested in a personalized copy, just send me a message.

Writing update 2017

I've been at work on a new novel, which is nearly complete and should interest those solitary souls who've read The Phantom Power of Purgatory. Also, there's a novella in the works. In the meantime, enjoy one of the early demos:

Wes Craven

Autumn 1984. I was ten. No internet, few video games. We played as children used to do. The only rule was to be home before dark.

Shortly after Halloween a rumbling went through the neighbourhood kids. A movie had been released in theatres that our parents forbade us to see. We tried to sneak in, and were thwarted by concerned ushers on more than one occasion. What my friends and I did manage to glimpse was the intro scene of some maniac machining a glove made of knives. To what purpose? Our imaginations quickly became the stuff of night terrors. Until the following year, and "A Nightmare on Elm Street" was THE secret VHS tape you didn't want to get caught with.

A legend by Wes Craven.
RIP Good Sir.
Your influence lives on.
