A Bit Of News And A Sale
Hello there everyone!
Sorry I’ve been MIA recently, this year seems to be flying by in a blur. Between working on my next novel and preparing for my first author signing I seem to have lost a hell of a lot of time, time that in the past I would have spent on here and for that I apologise. Guess��changing my phone didn’t help either as trying to use WP on my new phone is nigh on impossible…I want my iPhone back lol. Ok well I guess I best get to the point of this post rather than babbling on.

Book Review – Her Name Is James by CJ Heath
Synopsis
When James Farrow’s father decided he wouldn’t have his 15 year old son under his roof any more, the boy was taken into care. Now James is 18 and is no longer the responsibility of Social Services. He returns home to an uncertain reception.
His volatile father has mellowed over time but his son seems intent to challenge his restraint. In the three years apart, James has taken the first steps toward the future he wants. He wants to make the transition to being the girl he wishes he had been born as.
With a defiant brother and a vicious former friend opposing him, James resumes a relationship with Tina, his friend since they were small and she is the only support he feels he can rely on.
When Tina declares her love for James, he is thrown into greater confusion and realises he has feelings for her.
My Review
Some times in life you come across a story that touches your heart and never ever leaves, this is for me is one of��those stories. I had the pleasure of reading this pre-release and I have re-read it a couple of times now as it is such a beautiful story.
Upon reading the first time I found myself completely hooked by the end of the first chapter, in fact by the end of the first page. James’ story is one that is full of twists, turns and highly emotional moments, to the point where I couldn’t put the book down. Each character has been so well thought out and written that I found myself feeling as if I knew them personally.
Whilst reading James’ story I found myself experiencing a whole range of emotions, there were parts that made me laugh��out loud, parts that made me cry so hard that I had to take some time to pull myself together and parts where I found myself shouting at the book (haha there’s a strong possibility my neighbours thought I’d lost the plot whilst reading).
I want to tell you more about this book but it’s hard to do without giving the story away, the title really tells you all you need to know. It’s a story about how James struggles to become who he really is whilst trying to gain acceptance of the people that mean the most to him.
The way in which Cj has told the story will make you ask questions of yourself and some of those questions may be uncomfortable to answer, it’s an eye opening story that really has left a lasting impression on my heart.
It is a story that I highly recommend, one that I hope touches the hearts of all that read it.

Author Biography
Living in England on the Hampshire / Surrey border, CJ is married to Sarah and the father of three grown sons. The house is shared with a deaf 19 year old cat who has no idea she doesn’t miaow and instead makes a mooing sound. (Update : Rosie the cat didn’t reach 20; she sleeps with her sister now).
CJ has written for pleasure for more decades than he cares to admit. Growing up on an old fashioned country estate, he’d often be found among the trees of a nearby wood with a book for company
After receiving a payout to leave the Ministry of Defence in a round of budget cuts, he turned his attention to writing with an aim to publish. His desire is to write what he terms as “Rip your heart out” stories; the first of these is ‘Her Name is James’, was released on October 12th 2014, a joint celebration as it marked 10,000 days of being with Sarah.
‘Dark Angel’ was his first book and was released with no fanfare at the end of August 2014. Despite the quiet release, it clawed it’s way to No.6 on the Amazon Gothic chart. The first book of a trilogy, he is actively working on the second book for an end of March release in 2015. This sequel is stronger and longer and will be titled ‘Hell on Earth’.

WorldPoetryDay – Cold Steel Eyes, A Benito Poem
Since today is #WorldPoetryDay and #IndieBookDay I thought I would share this poem that was inspired by Benito from my book Aphrodite’s Fire.

Stood in the dark
Waiting to see
If the vision he had
Would come to be
Would she do
As he had asked
And finally join
Him at last
Cold eyes trained
On the door
To the room
Knowing he would leave
If she didn’t come soon
Hand wrapped around
Smooth, solid shaft
Getting pleasure
From fingers
That played
Then at last
Door opened
And in she walked
Moving quickly out of sight
Blade at her throat
Breath caught
Fear poured from her
On which he feasted
Knowing it was needed
For her to be treated
Without sound
Removing blade
She fell to her knees
Legs slowly splayed
Her submission to him
The greatest gift
She was willing to learn
Ready to twist
Beneath his hand
Submitting to pain
Receiving pleasure
As she screamed his name
Then he would teach
See how she would learn
To bring others to knees
And make them burn
For him it was pleasure
For her something more
She was the perfect way
To settle his score
Looking at her
Through cold, steel eyes
Hand around throat
Smothering her sighs
No fight did she give
Just sweet submission
His little blonde pet
Lust’s sweet ignition
Forced against wall
Clothes tore from her flesh
Used without remorse
Reliving his stress
Walking away
When finally finished
Knowing she’d wait
Submission undiminished
The perfect pet
Finally found
Soon he would have her
Completely bound
To him
And his desires
Then he would see
The true glory of her fire
He could taste
The revenge
Knew she was the one
To bring everything
To a perfect end.

Lost
Mind clouded by a cloak of pitch darkness
Shrouding her every thought
In obsidian black
No light breaking through the veil of despair

Aphrodite’s Fire, An Excerpt – Meet Benito
Benito.
He had watched as the fool he worked for drove away, returning to his apartment only when the fancy car was no longer in sight. Sitting down on his couch he picked up his laptop. Looking at the information that appeared on the screen a smile played on his lips.
He really hadn���t expected to find anything with the small amount of information he had found in her purse but he had stumbled across a veritable gold mine. As his fingers tapped across the keys more and more information appeared before him.
He was sick of being a skivvy to Luca Bellomi. Don Armeo really needed to find out just how pathetic his nephew was but not just yet. It would soon be time but first he needed the love sick fool to use his looks and money to trap the little slut.
When the time was right he would play his hand but for now he would hold the information he had close to his chest. Soon the sexy little slut would be willing to do anything for him; he would make her beg for both hers and Luca���s lives.
Oh yes he was going to have so much fun playing with the little slut in front of the love struck fool that was going to hand her to him on a plate. The thought of what he would do to her out there in the barn made his cock harder than it had ever been.
Closing his eyes he popped the buttons on his pants, his hand wrapping tightly around his pulsing length, slowly and firmly he squeezed and stroked, images of her chained up and screaming flashed before his eyes, visions of the ordeal he would subject her to adding to his pleasure…
