I am a writer. Mostly, I write gay romance frequently with an element of the supernatural, fantastical or futuristic.

About Me

It all began when I learned to decipher the alphabet. I soon found that the world was full of wonderful stories but not all of the tales I wanted to read were being told. In self-defense, I began to write, and havent stopped since.

In what little time my busy schedule of reading and writing has left me, Ive worked as a copywriter, a translator, an English teacher, a linguistics tutor, an alibi S.O., a soap maker, a cloakroom attendant, a bartender, and other such things. Only the jobs that involve writing have stuck.

About My Stories

My primary focus is always on the characters. My goal is to create real, interesting

I haven't begun writing yet, thanks to Life (it's like it conspires to prevent me from writing) - but I've been plotting, and ideas are ambushing me all the time.

I fully intend to spin this tale further. I started missing Drakjan and Hraban the moment I finished "Still Waters". There is so much of their tale left to tell!

Also: It's great to hear that you liked the story enough to be interested in a sequel! :-)(less)

I hadn't originally planned a sequel, but I've been asked this question by many readers, and I do agree that there is definitely plot potential, both in terms of what will happen in the world around Pat and Nick, and how their relationship will change and evolve. The only problem is that I have three other books that I want to write first, and am not a fast writer. I am definitely not ruling a Cold-Blooded sequel out, but I really can't promise anything, either. Not an entirely satisfactory answer, I'm afraid! (less)

Why it is never “just” fiction

In recent months, Ive had several discussions in which I criticized the way a sensitive topic was treated in a fictional work. The topics in question varied, as did the fictional works, but the course these discussions took was always the same. Id object to the way the matter in question was portrayed, and would be told that it was just a book / movie / TV series, and I was making a fuss over n...

I know you have just read 'Softpaw', so I am pretty sure that's the book you are asking about.

Writing the entire book was fun, really. But if I were to pick a singular favourite part, in all honesty - it would be research.

Because we got lucky an... See Full Answer
