The Euro Misses A Victim

Bulgaria recently announced they will forgo adopting the single Euro currency. This decision was certainly influenced by observing the struggles of other small economies, such as Spain and Greece, when tied to the same currency as Germany. Over at the Worden Report, however, you'll find dismay that Bulgaria dare say "thanks, but no thanks" to this one-way ticket on the Hindenburg.

Obama Won't Cold Shoulder THIS Donor

I think we're going to have to revise that storyline about President Obama's neglect of big donors. George Soros may not be able to get a White House meeting. But Haim Saban - the deep-pocketed Democratic donor who supported Hillary Clinton to the bitter end in 2008 - has an op-ed today in the New York Times endorsing Obama on pro-Israel grounds ... on the very day after the Democratic platform slighted Jerusalem as Israel's capital.

RNC Diary: Xenophobia For Cable, Inclusiveness For Prime-Time

One message loud and clear from this Charlotte convention: the Democrats have a very clear theory of their vulnerabilities and opportunities.
