Lydia Fitzpatrick is a Princeton University graduate and a recipient of a Wallace Stegner Fellowship from Stanford University.

Her debut novel, Lights All Night Long, came out from Penguin Press in 2019. Her second novel, In the Blind, is forthcoming from Knopf in April 2027. Her short stories have appeared in The Best American Mystery Stories, One Story, and elsewhere.

She lives in South Carolina.
