357 - Will he die of shock?
Min was up on the Marble Palace roof this morning, training with Kallijas Itrean again. They'd talked yesterday... most of the day actually. This morning... they were going to be training most of the morning.
I thought it was perfect. It felt like the perfect solution. If my Arkan brother could quit beating up on himself long enough to notice, he'd probably make a kyashin good Imperator.

356 - Will he die of shock?
Min was up on the Marble Palace roof this morning, training with Kallijas… I didn't know if he'd agreed to Chevenga's elegant scheme. It was perfect. It felt like the perfect solution. If my Arkan brother could quit beating up on himself long enough to notice, he'd probably make a kyashin good Imperator. I couldn't tell anyone yet, until it was announced, and it was like having red ants in

Question
Hey Guys...
A quick question...
Should I quit?
I have been beating my head against this question for almost a year.
If I cannot do this well enough I should stop trying. So... am I doing this well enough? Once I finish the Eclipse Court and other series I'm committed to... should I keep trying?
Just a quick poll.
Thanks!

355 - Recovery and Prayers
Chevenga clapped me on the shoulder. "Good. I'm assuming you were spoken to."
I managed a nod but that was all. "I guess he isn't forzak, like he thinks," Gan said. I so desperately wanted it all to go away but I didn't pass out.
"I think the God might have told him something like that. Minis, you need a glass of water, a glass of wine and a meal," Chevenga said. "In that order. I need

354 - Tears of Fire
Joras Mahid, the senior is going to correct you so severely… The okas labourer let go the handle of the cart he was pulling, letting the two front legs settle onto the pavement. …I would not be you before you are sent to Hayel for failure. The line into the city began moving again and he took up his cart again.
The First Second had sent him out to find the fate of the family's lost sheep an

353 - Not fit to try
"How do you know?" Chevenga asked me. "You've tried?" I still wasn't looking at him but I opened my eyes when I heard Gannara draw in a deep breath. He knew.
"Kyash, that's true," Gan said. "You are."
"I don't… I can't…" I turned my eyes to Chevenga whose expression was growing concerned. I could feel the heat in my face. I gulped and tried again. "…perform."
And of course, being Yeoli,

352 - One Solution to 14.8
Oh my Ancestors. Sinimas did he just... Oh no... My heart leapt up with an evil little 'yes!' I squashed it even as I tried to draw in a breath through a chest gone to stone. No. No. No. It was a hideous idea. A horrible one. Arko would never want me, the little monster on the Crystal Throne. I had a vision of one of my nightmares... my eyes in the fat guy's face, clawing the flesh off in

351 - The Qualities Necessary
Kyriala looked at Benthasas's face, then down at the split ring lying so innocent in his gloved palm, as if it were a tiny, poisonous, jewel spider. She could feel mama's eyes on her, and the aunties, and Hikinias and Ormanas, even as they pretended to be paying attention to Laisa, preparing to sing the Lament. She could feel the pressure of their desires, the aunties and mama to see her

350 - Dinner Party
I sat in the same park across from Gan's parent's business. Greenhills Shipping and Merchant House The letters swim in front of my eyes. Gan and I talked it over and figured out it would be easier for the family if I came down... and there was no reason to hide so they could meet me as Minis straight off. Oh joy.
