I slid an anonymous note to the Speaking Elder into a parcel meant to go to the Embassy in Sailortown. If they opened it they wouldn't be able to trace it because I used their own office paper and pens to write it rather than my own stationary. The Arkan Need for Atonement The correct term is actually not "Atonement". It is a misnomer to say that pain atones for pain. All it means is that more people are hurting rather than one feeling better and the other feeling worse. However, in Arko we are taught otherwise, as if we could somehow take on pain, sin and guilt and disperse it through their own bodies.

Hey there! There might be another post this weekend, since Karen and I are doing the novel marathon in Huntsville. Cram a building with a bunch of wild-eye'd writers, lots of computers, food and coffee and give them incentives to produce words from Friday to Monday.
