An Interesting Few Days
With the polar vortex trapping me inside my house in a way even Amanda would have admired, my productivity increased markedly. I have a first draft all done of Welcome to College. I am really proud of the cover, which looks much more like a real book cover than my first one.
1. I have been talking to several women lately with an interest in forced feminization. I've even seen a few on Goodreads. This is fascinating to me as I've always seen this as a 99% male genre. It puts pressure on me to write more well rounded female characters.
2. Pricing - people had a nice workaround today, but it won't work because I'm exclusive with Amazon. I do think I can cut prices very low for a short period of time and that is what I'm going to try next. The first book in any series needs to catch people's attention so that they'll keep reading.
3. As I proofread my second manuscript, I'm starting to think it may be a good idea to proofread the first one more carefully. I don't think I have enough errors to turn off a reader completely, but they are definite blemishes.
