Love of a Rockstar Trailer Release
YouTube is being stupid so I can’t display the video trailer of “Love of a Rockstar” on this page. However, I have provided a link below. It’s such a fun, sexy and video that really depicts the tone of the novel. Take look and let me know your thoughts.

Act Two: Formatting
Once you short story or novel is in tiptop shape, it’s time to move on to the next step. Formatting your novel basically get its ready for E-reader devices and print pages. You can do it yourself but frankly it’s tedious and there is a lot to learn. Thankfully, depending on whom you hire, the price isn’t outrageous. For me, I paid 60 bucks for four different e-book formats. Nook Press, Amazon, Smashwords and Kobo are the four major ones and the ones I chose to self publish “Love of a Rockstar” on. Another bonus of hiring a formatter is that they beautify your novel. See below for example. As always, there are a few links I have included in this post to help you along. Good luck!

Act One: Editing Your Novel
When I first started on the journey of becoming a romance author, I thought all I had to do was write a book and BAM! It would get published. Not because I thought I was a literary genius but because I figured it would be easy to land an agent. Turns out, landing an agent was tough.
So I changed courses and decided to go the self-published route, which I dare say, is a gamble. You need an editor, formatter, cover artist and lastly, a PR agency to promote your book. This all takes more money than you may make back in profits the first month selling your e-book (most likely). Even so, these people take your e-book to new heights and let you show off your best work. Choosing the right person or company is another story, but not to fret! I have compiled a list of helpful links. Act One is about editing. Below you will find articles to guide you toward hiring the right person. Good luck! And stay tuned for Act Two: formatting.

The 411 on Marlene and Luke
MARLENE:
Marlene is the kind of woman who loves chocolates more than shoes. Who finds relaxation in the form of kneading pie dough and loves her fearless four-year-old daughter, Nil, more than anything. Marlene dreams to own a restaurant of her own someday but in the meantime works as a front desk agent at an up-scale hotel.
At seventeen, she fell head over heels for bad boy Luke Anderson but when he shattered her heart into a million pieces, she made a vow to always walk on the safe side which meant no more dark mysterious men. That is until she get's a taste of what that really means. Will Marlene be satisfied with safe or will she always long for a certain dangerous rock and roller?
LUKE:
Luke Anderson always wanted to be a rock star but he had no idea the price he would have to pay to get there. Shoulder length black hair, tattoo’s that snake up both arms and blue eyes the color of the sea. Luke was the spitting image of a rock and roller. What didn't fit though was his heart, which according to his father always felt too much. After a hellish childhood, desperate and alone, Luke turned to music. It was the one thing that could sooth his soul. That is until he met Marlene who lighted up his world in ways he didn’t know was possible.
Three years later Luke’s music was taking off and he had a child on the way. Life should've been blissful except Luke was deadly afraid that he was going to turn into his father. A man whom didn’t deserve the title. Instead of staying to fight, Luke escaped to a life on the road.
