Thank You, Goodreads Reviewers!
I want to extend a very special thank you to the First Reads Goodreads winners who have left reviews for 14 Days. Because this was such a personal story, to put this memoir out into the public is difficult. The process of writing a book for public consumption is vulnerable enough; to put a story as intimate as this into the hands of strangers can be daunting. But the love you've shown to the story and to my mom is so heartwarming. I know that she would have been beyond tickled to know that her life was touching others in such a significant way.
So thank you. I can't wait for this memoir to be birthed.
